Title: Nice, thick sealant
Review: So.. initially I thought I would use this for the bathroom but actually, the handle on my car is melting away, so I thought I’d give this a try to resolve it rather than masking tape.The tape itself is nice and thick. It’s rubbery and easy to manipulate into place.The reason I thought this would be a good fix is because it’s waterproof and quite thick. I managed to cut it to size fairly easily and generally, it has stuck well. There are a few places where the tape has started to lift so I would be concerned if you were using this in a damp bathroom, how it would hold up.All in all, I’m very satisfied with this. Good price point too and has lasted well so far.

Title: Instant results with the minimum of effort!
Review: I recently used a white roll of this type of sealant tape in my bathroom – with very successful results. I was therefore keen to try this clear sealant for anywhere where white sealant isn’t appropriate. I also liked the idea of using it, as suggested, for protecting the corners and edges of tables.It’s so much easier to use than regular silicone, there’s no mess, and you don’t need to wait hours for it to dry. So long as the surface is dry, the adhesive sticks well, and the pre-formed crease down the middle of the tape makes it easier to apply. This pack also contains a small sachet of “adhesion promoter”, a wipe for using after cleaning the surface and before applying the tape.I’m no lover of DIY but don’t mind this job as you get instant results with the minimum of effort – and hopefully, will avoid the cost of calling in a professional! I guess the real test is how long the seal lasts, but so far, so good.My only niggle with this sealant tape is the ridiculous greenwashing – so common these days. It’s made of PVC and acrylic adhesive – which are apparently “environmentally friendly materials, non-toxic and tasteless(!), will not harm the human body and the environment”!

Title: Easy to apply but corner joints could be a weak spot.
Review: The silicone joint around my shower tray is starting to do what silicone joints tend to do. It is starting to get immovable black patches all over the surface. It is time to do something about it. At first I thought to cut the old silicone away and redo the join. Then I saw this listing.Having considered the issue the only immediate negatives are doubts about the long term adhesion of this product, and only time will tell me that. The second issue is how to be certain to get a waterproof join in the comers. What I have decided to do is cut away the bulk of the existing silicone and then check that there is still a seal between wall and tray. If that looks to be suspect then I will scrape out and redo but without putting a bead on top of the tray so that this tape can lay flat on both wall and tray. I would then feel confident of a waterproof result after the tape is stuck down.In use the tape is nice and pliable. The photos even show it going around a pedestal but I’m not sure that I would be sure of getting a wrinkle free result if I tried that. For more gradual curves this system works well. I shall now have to wait and see how well the tape stays stuck to my shower tray and wall but initial impressions are good with the tape looking well sealed along the edges with no evident areas of poor adhesion.Value wise, comparing it to other similar products I would say this represents fair, but not the best, price. However I do not know how any of the products will perform over an extended period of time.

Title: Okay, but slightly thick for fitting around corners
Review: I got this sealant strip to seal around the inside (wet) edge of our shower cubicle. The base was already caulked with silicon sealer but this was a belt and braces job, just to be sure.The tape is a little different to other types that I have used previously and came with a small sachet of adhesion promoter. This sachet puzzled me a little because inside was a small paper towel, which seems to be completely dry. I did use it to wipe over the surface that I was sticking the tape on to. The adhesive worked pretty well, but I’m not sure that the “adhesion promoter” made any difference.The tape was also a little thicker than I expected, making it slightly more difficult to get a close fit around the corners. However, I did manage to get a reasonable result by heating the tape with a hairdryer before application as I usually do.On the positive side I like that the adhesive is a single broad strip across the whole of the back of the tape which I think will help with water resistance.

Title: Not bad tape, adhesive is okay but you know what I’m going to say.
Review: Yep glue, always use glue with adhesives that’s my motto. This tape went in the bathroom to cover a gap that kept spilling liquid, there was enough tape to spread to another area of the house, it’s roughly 3.2Meters long, and can be cut easily.Peeling wasn’t hard at all, and it is very sticky, the trick is to peel it off bit by bit as you go along, and wipe it down with a soft plastic card if you got one, or just use your hands. The only issue I have with this is the colour doesn’t match the environment, would prefer white, and perhaps a little thicker tape, to fill a height gap.Just make sure you clean and dry the area you are working on first before applying, this holds it on better.

Review: Ich habe mit dem Klebeband den Spalt zwischen Arbeitsplatte und Ceran-Kochfeld gegen Krümel und Ãœberkochunfälle abgedichtet.Das Band ist sehr klebefreudig, läßt sich aber trotzdem ohne Rückstände wieder entfernen. Der Kleber “fließt” regelrecht.Bislang konnte ich noch keine Verformungen oder Verfärbungen feststellen, obwohl ich das Kochfeld täglich und auch auf höchster Hitzestufe verwende.Selbst als ich aus Versehen einen heißen Topf über den Rand geschoben habe, hat es keinen Schaden genommen.Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Review: Ich habe dieses Dichtungsband genutzt, um in einer älteren Küche die Ritze zwischen zwei Schrankelementen zu schließen. Da der Schwing-Boden in dem alten Bauerhaus nicht eben ist, hat sich eine starre Verbindung nicht bewährt. Mit diesem flexiblen Fugenband konnte ich das Problem lösen.Mit dem mitgelieferten Lösemittel-Pad habe ich die zu beklebende Fläche vorbehandelt und das Dichtungsband ohne zusätzliches Erhitzen aufgebracht. Es klebt sehr gut, sodass sich keine Brösel oder Staub unter die Kanten schieben können. Der intensive Geruch war nach ein paar Stunden weg.Der Lieferung liegt kein Beipackzettel bei, die meisten Infos gibt es nur online. Wobei ich die Empfehlung, damit Tischecken zu schützen nicht so praktikabel oder schön finde. Bei einem Versuch hat es jedenfalls nicht gut geklappt und Falten geworfen. Ich habe es dann schnell wieder abgezogen bevor es zu fest klebt.
