Automatic Hot Air Mode

An YIHUA Exclusive Technology – When flipped to automatic, the gun cools to 100°C when placed in the holder. Unneccessary wear and tear could happen when you’re switching between tools for a project. This function helps avoid those unnecessary wear on the consumable parts, and extend the lifespan of the heating element by cooling the gun when it is not in use. At the same time, the function improves safety factor, and help you reduce unnecessary energy usage.

Manual Hot Air Mode

An YIHUA Exclusive Technology – When flipped to manual, the gun stays at the set temperature for frequent usage. This provides an alternative option for when you need to use the hot air gun frequently for a project.

We equipped this function with a quick-access toggle switch, so you can switch the hot air station back to the automatic mode at a flick of a switch after on-and-off usages.

10-Minute Soldering Iron Sleep Mode

In the holder, the iron cools to 200°C to idle when it detects no movement for longer than 10 minutes. (This prevents the heating element & iron tips from premature aging when frequent usage is not required, so you don’t have to keep buying heating elements & iron tips.)

Title: I am now a soldering overlord!
Review: It’s a pretty nifty bit of kit. I bought it because I like to pretend I’m clever and can fix stuff, and now I can! It comes with a bag of different size heads for the soldering iron, and about 5 or 6 different size heads for the hairdryer thingy. They both heat up quickly, temperatures and airflow adjust easily, money well spent.

Title: Latest Models seem good and have Authenticity
Review: Was a little concerned about this product from seeing a review on Youtube from 6 years ago. On model he had the Fuse was to the negative and was therefore Live all the time. This concerned me lots.However, after the amazon recommended I started to think that this issue was resolved as I could not see any other negative reviews. So I purchased.Firstly, There is a QR code on the top so it can verify its a genuine model. This ties in to the fact that I have seen this same model by different manufacturers so there is obviously copies out there. The fact that the do this and take ownership of it makes me believe that they stand by their product and if it was unsafe they would not do this. So a lot happier knowing they use this authentication.As for the product itself. Apart from the Gun holder holes being rather tight to the bracket it was very easy to set up and get going. I recommend setting everything to auto so it can put things to sleep when not in use.Airgun was excellent for desoldering SMCs and heats up really quickly. When placing in Holder it drops temp dramatically so it doesnt burn anything in its way. You can control the airflow and I set ti to 50% most of the time. Just be patient and the SMC will release.The Iron itself is pretty decent too and again heats up very quickly. Not been calibrated so the temps are just a matrix to go by. I set it to 380Â° for soldering and 420Â° to desolder. Dont know if thi sis the REAL temperature but its irrelevant if it does the job I ask it to do.Not used it long so will need to test it more but on first impressions very happy with the purchase as it fulfills all my requirements.

Review: Brought to replace an ageing iron I’ve been using for 15 years or so which was excellent. What can I say, this is an excellent iron. Great range of tips are also included. Heats up quickly and holds a constant temperature (which is easily set). The inclusion of the hot air blower is a bonus, great for applying to heat wrap.Fully assembled in minutes, the unit seems very robust and well designed.

Title: Retro style but good
Review: So far so good. The cable soft and flexible, temperature adjustment is really fast and accurate. The soldering iron stand is metal and stable.The unit it looks a bit dated in comparison to some of the LCD stations out there but the metal case has a solid state retro appeal to it. The buttons switches and dials are sensibly laid out and decent quality, there is no need to navigate layers of LCD menus to make simple adjustments. One minor niggle is the master power switch being on the back of the unit.I use a fair amount of shrink tube and have been carefully using an full size diy style heat gun with a nozzle for years. The heat gun on this is a real treat, small, accurate, powerful, fully adjustable and heats up in about 20 seconds.In summary given the choice I would happily buy this station again.
