Review: I needed an easy to use portable drill to help assemble and modify a wooden cupboard, so I thought this would do the job.It comes in a portable plastic case with all the items neatly organized – the drill itself feels quite nice in the hands, with a decent amount of heft yet a good balance too. There’s a plastic locking tab that you can adjust to change the spinning direction, or to lock it in place. The trigger has a decent amount of resistance to it, although it can also be quite sensitive so it’s tough to keep on a very consistent speeds.The included drill bits are okay for lightweight jobs – it was able to get through the cupboard well enough which was made out of plywood. However, you’ll definitely need to get some stronger bits if you’re going to be using this for dense materials. There’s also a limit to what this drill is capable of, but for my use-case, this is good for quick projects.As a screwdriver it works very well, it can sometimes choke up if you press the trigger suddenly, so you may have to learn how to ease it in and get used to what pressure works best for each screw.I’m happy with it and I’d also say that the battery life is not too bad either – enough to handle smaller projects. However, if you’re using this all day you’ll have to recharge it a few times.

Title: Basic and lacking better control over speed
Review: There is always need for cheap tool for home DIY, small job around house and there is dilemma, what to buy and not to spend too much. Obviously choosing this drill you have to understand it is made for simple tasks and limited need. This is 12V cordless drill which has brushes and some sort of torque adjustment inside. When using it, after pressing trigger it is not very good with slow movement, it immediately jumps to quicker speed, lacking better control over it so when using with Philips or screwing, you have to have in mind it won’t be gentle. For drilling it doesn’t matter that much since you want to go for faster speed anyway. They include 2 spare batteries which is huge advantage, double the time of work however when used for drilling in wood with bigger bit, it does drain battery very fast so you need them two anyway. I recommend to stay on 1st gear anyway to preserve battery as possible. For starter drill is it great since it offers many drill bits for masonry, wood, magnetic bits. I haven’t used it for metal and frankly I don’t think it would do good job with thicker metal, maybe some small aluminium but when you consider price of £29.99 for this whole set it is bargain really.
