Title: Followed instructions…
Review: I followed instructions as provided with the bits. Set the drill to low gear, drilled at slow speed and didn’t apply force to the hand drill. I let the 3mm bit do it’s job and it sank into the brick reasonably quickly using hammer action. The bit didn’t become hot and showed no sign of being worn afterwards. I like Workpro tools and own several. These bits are well up to the companies high standards and the case holding them is good quality.

Review: Supplied in a lovely plastic case, these 15 masonry bits make a good set for the occasional DIYer, such as myself. It’s not often that I need to drill holes in brickwork, but when I do it’s almost certain that either I can’t find the bit size I need, or the bit I do have is blunt. With this set, you receive two or three of each of the most common sizes:3 x 3 mm Ø3 x 4 mm Ø3 x 5 mm Ø2 x 6 mm Ø2 x 8 mm Ø2 x 10 mm ØI’d say its a good set to have in your toolbox, decent enough for light masonry work.
