Review: These were very easy to setup taking around 30 seconds once the app is installed. Configuring the app with Alexa takes a few seconds, and any new plugs added are automatically detected by alexa. Voice control works fine and plugs respond almost immediately. Option to disable the plug led is a nice touch. The real-time energy monitoring works fine, but the only minor issue is that you can only view one device/plug at a time rather than monitor all devices at once. Its also a very small area in the app that displays current Watts and amps usage. Despite this I will likely buy again – hopefully this is something that could be added in a future app update.

Title: Timer / electric usage
Review: When I bought the box of 4 I was sceptical. But from I opened the box they have been brilliant.Very easy app set up and adding the plugs to the app. Biggest issue I had was remembering my WiFi password.I’m able to set the Christmas Tree lights to come on at sunset and timed to go off And see how much Electricity it’s using. Which is surprisingly little.Also able to see at any one time if the appliance plugged into it is drawing power.I would highly recommend if you like keeping an eye on things.

Review: Arrived quickly and well packaged. Good looking, neat plug. Easily linked with phone and then automatically linked (through phone) to Amazon Echoes. Timer works effectively as does voice activated switches. Only had them a couple of weeks but definitely seem good value at less than £5 each.

Review: My Wife and I decided to try smart plugs as we’ve both got injuries currently that make it a bit awkward to get lean over and switch things like lamps on etc in our front room. Initially we installed a few and thought this is great it’s so much more convenient to use either Google home (yes we bought one of them too) or the app to turn the lamps off. Pretty soon we had smart plugs on most things, turning the kettle on from the sofa was nice just one trip to the kitchen when you’re watching a film instead of two and all the other gimmicky little things that go with these plugs, all seemed great for about a week or so…..Then the plugs start going offline and there’s no way to reset them from the app which results in you having to go constantly to that awkward plug socket you were trying to avoid to manually reset themIt got so ridiculous that we removed the one off the tv as it went offline on every useBut this isn’t the reason for this negative review, as frustrating as this was you can live with niggles if the majority work ok.However we have to large Huskies who live in our home and one of thems behaviour has recently become quite strange. He has been whining in the night and both myself and my Wife have come down to him several times now to find him super agitated, panting and pacing and evidently in distress, we’ve let him outside thinking he’s not done his business before bedtime and he’s just sat outside calming down. This morning he’s done the same again and I’ve come down and let him out and he’s sat there and then come in and just wanted a fuss made of him at 5am…. This is very very out of character for him he’s pretty bomb proof and sleeps soundly normally..Then something a friend said to me two days ago made the penny drop, he’s a dog lover too and somehow we were talking about smart plugs and he said they cause dogs distress due to the high frequencies they can emit, I had forgotten this conversation till this morning when I found my dog agitated for no reason.Thinking back this behaviour started the exact time we got all these smart plugs to the day, so the lot of them came out this morning at 5am!If I had any idea these plugs could do that they wouldn’t be anywhere near our house as it’s our dogs home too.If you have pets I would definitely rethink these as they really really upset my dog to the point where I thought he was having a fit, the vets checked him out 100 percent healthy so that only leaves me with the above conclusion. There’s a lot of info on Google about it and clear evidence from othersDon’t buy!

Review: Great bit of tech for the house, actually turns the TV off and doesn’t leave it on standby. Saving electric the easy way. Also shows you how much electricity it’s used. Plus while working away I can tune my lights on and out them on a routine too. These plugs are good. Might get another set soon. Highly recommend, specially for the price.

Review: Ich gebe euch hier kurze Bulletpoints zu den positiven und negativen Aspekten der Steckdosen, sowie einem Fazit aus meiner Sicht.Positiv• Leichte Einbringung in die Woox App• Funktioniert einwandfrei mit AlexaNegativ• Bisher habe ich nichts Negatives feststellen könnenFazitIch habe mir diese Steckdosen nun schon 3-mal je 4 Stück gekauft, habe also 12 Stück davon bei mir im Einsatz und ich muss sagen, dass sie ihren Zweck vollkommen erfüllen. Mein primärer Zweck war es, dass ich eine über Alexa steuerbare Steckdose haben wollte, die ohne viel Schnick-Schnack einfach gut funktioniert.Der oben genannte Zweck Funktioniert einwandfrei. Beim ersten anmelden in der Woox App muss diese noch mit Alexa gekoppelt werden, wenn das einmal geschehen ist, ist es super leicht neue Steckdosen einzubringen. Wenn diese dann in der Woox App hinzugefügt worden sind, erkennt die Alexa App sie auch schon automatisch und sie sind dann sofort per Alexa steuerbar.Für mich demnach 5 Sterne und eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
