Title: worked fine to start with and now isn’t.
Review: Received this item and installed it without issue. 6 weeks later and with nothing changed it has stopped working. I have rewired and reset the software and still nothing. No way to return a faulty item after the Amazon window has closed. Not happy!

Title: Damned Useful!
Review: I like this because it provides 3 mains outlet sockets and USB sockets, with remote voice control via Alexa. Each of the three main sockets and the group of USB sockets are individually controlled by Alexa, or your phone or touch sensitive switches on the strip. This means you can issue commands separately to toggle on/off each mains socket, and the group of USB sockets. That’s the group, not individual USB sockets as far as I can see.. I find it very useful, because being of limited mobility, I find it difficult to bend down to switch things on and off, and with voice control, I don’t need to. I would recommend this seemingly very well made product.

Title: Great addition to smart home
Review: Was not aware of the existence of these products until seeing them in an Amazon store in New York and was delighted to find on my return that they available in the UK. I managed to buy at a discount on prime day and think, possibly, that £30 is a bit steep compared to other socket strips without the smart control.The strip comes very well packaged and is a neat unit. Given the number of devices which utilise USB charging, it seems a sensible trade off of the usual 4 sockets to three plus 4 USB ports. The USB ports are controlled as a group whereas each of the three sockets can be independently controlled. The whole unit can also be switched on or off or on a schedule.The strip is controlled by an easily downloadable app and was easily found by Google Home. You need to remember to enable the Alexa Woox skill to work with alexa, but seems to work without issue once installed and found. The app enables you to easily rename the sockets to something more memorable/descriptive than the presets.Overall, this is a great addition to your smart home if you want more control over a number of devices and the £30 price tag compares very well to 4 separate sockets as well as being considerably neater and with less set up hassle.

Title: Smart Multi-Plug ,works with Alexa & Google!
Review: I had previously purchased two smart WiFi sockets separately and saw this multi plug so as I’m trying to automate my home (call it a 50 Something crisis 😉 ) I bought it .3 plug sockets and 4 USB ports in 1 .Right out of the box it’s sturdy and made of decent material so it’s not going to fall apart next week !It comes with a tiny instruction booklet (us middle aged types will need glasses ).very straight forward to set up .You can scan the bar code but it’s better to just search on the App Store or google store to download their version as they are verified whereas the app from the manufacturer won’t be .Once the app is downloaded on your phone or iPad ,you must set up an account it only takes 2 minutes .Open the app click the + to add and press and hold the button situated on the smart multi plug .It will flash twice a second .Click pair on your app and after about 20 seconds it will prompt you to enter your WiFi pass word so it can communicate with your router .once that’s in 30 seconds later it pairs ,the light in the multi plug glows and all the socket lights illuminate !That’s it your set up .The sockets are numbered in the app but you can change the numbers and replace them with the names of the items your running in each socket otherwise one may get confused .All 3 plug sockets can be controlled individually and timers set for on and off .The 4 USB ports are controlled all together rather than individually so all four are either on or off .You can see from my pictures how I’ve changed the socket names to reflect each item .See screenshots of the set up to help .If I can manage you certainly can 👍Great piece of kit recommendJust a quick update and word of warning ,don’t try and run lots of energy intensive items on the same extension at once for example a tv ,electric fire and lamp as well as a charger because it will blow the fuse ! Mine did ,I swapped the fuse out (rates at 13a)and I’m back up and running .

Title: Potentially dangerous
Review: Bought two of these items over a year ago. Both have functioned well until one recently failed. I opened case to investigate and immediately saw evidence of where it had blown at the live connection. On further investigation I was horrified to find that the item was incorrectly wired, it can be clearly seen that the live cable is connected to the (N) Neutral terminal. I had previously used this block to control connected lights where the polarity of terminals is less significant. However l have lately connected power tools which obviously resulted in failure. There could well have been more catastrophic outcomes. I have not investigated the second power bar which is connected to TV and audio equipment and continues to function.This has occurred a year after purchase and had it been a “normal” failure I would have accepted but this is a gross flaw in quality control and potentially very dangerous
