Review: The only knife that fits is the clever everything else fits loosely well it’s hard to know if it’ll fit your knives or not but it definitely doesn’t fit a standard chef knife which is your main knife so, pretty waste of money

Review: Sadly the knife block arrive with a large split in the side panel which suggested poor materials and poor quality control. Fortunately the Amazon return system worked perfectly and the item was sent back the following day.

Review: What a shame! This product has wonderful potential! The drying cut out feature was very clever. It felt nice to insert my cleaver into a bamboo slot, but holly crap!… Can you believe not even the largest of the 3 center slots fit a standard chef knife! Like why?? It’s such a cool design that I considered using a saw & altering the box to accommodate my knives, but the engineer & owner should know what a blunder of a design flaw they are selling. A huge missed opportunity! The 3 center slots should all be wide enough to fit a standard American chef knife. And let’s be honest most men have one cleaver not two so it’s not necessary to have two over sized slots on either side. Pick a side for the cleaver (the left(: ), and have four equal sized slots that can fit most any chef knife, you could make the last one slightly smaller so that it fits a carving knife or a boning knife just fine, market it as a cleaver knife block and a chef’s ultimate knife block. Hate that I have to return this! Do better!

Review: First off, it arrived with a crack in it. I was willing to forgive that and just glue it, but then it didn’t even fit my knives! Based on the 2 large cut outs I thought this would fit both my chinese chef’s knives, but it didn’t. And the medium size cut out didn’t even fit my small santoku style knife. It only came wrapped in shrink wrap in the large box with my other purchases so I can’t even return it in the original packaging at my local Kohl’s, so I’m not even going to bother. Also, it is completely hollow inside so there is nothing to support the knives.
