Title: Brilliant Smart Scales
Review: These scales are a great addition to your home. They connect over wifi, making recording readings very easy, since they get sent over wifi to your phone and get recorded on your health mate companion app.You can customise your experience on the app as well as adjust the metric – kg / lb etc.They also look great in white and would make a stylish, sleek and contemporary addition to your home.There are many areas you could research when preparing to buy some scales, smart or otherwise, but mainly; the accuracy, ease of setup, ease of use and longevity of the device are key. Withings gets these spot on and gets a solid recommendation from me.

Title: Perfect Smart Scales That Just Work As They Should – Very Highly Recommended
Review: This is now the third ‘smart scale’ that I have tried. The first one was the Exzact EX912 which didn’t work properly and then the Salter MiBody (Model No. 9159 BK3R) and that didn’t work properly either. Thanks goodness for the excellent Amazon returns policy!At last I have found one that works perfectly, the Nokia Body. I am guessing as the Body+ is similar that would work just as wellI first connected the Body via WiFi and synced it to my iPhone x using the Nokia Health Mate App which was easy, the scales then did an update of it’s software which took just a few minutes and the Health Mate App lets you know the % completed. The scales then says ReadyUsing the Health Mate App was straight forward and I set up my user profile in a couple of minutes, I also set a weight goal on the AppOnce the scales and App were set up correctly I changed the scales to use a Bluetooth connection to my iPhone x instead of WiFi as I don’t always have WiFi turned on. Again the scales and the App ‘talked’ to each other with no problemsAs soon as you stand on the Body it starts up, recognises the correct user profile and displays your name on the screen, and sends the data to the AppI’ve now tried over 10 times to stand on the scale and have it transmit the data to the App, using Bluetooth, and it’s worked perfectly every timeThe other cool thing is that you don’t need to have the App open at the time you use the Body, and have it transmit the data, as it picks the data up the next time you open up the AppAs I wanted to use the Body on a carpeted floor I installed the included carpet feet and as far as accuracy is concerned I think they are spot on as just a couple of hours earlier I was weighed at my ‘weigh in’ (on a diet!) with some very expensive scales and they matched 100%I honestly can’t understand why some reviewers have not given these scales at least 4 stars as they are faultless in their operationI am very happy indeed with my Nokia Body and would advise against so called ‘cheaper’ models as in my experience they don’t work reliably

Title: Good WiFi scale, pairs with iPhone, eventually.
Review: My requirement was that I wanted to track my weight in the iPhone health app, so then other apps like Strava and My fitness Pal could use the data. It does this well and I’m losing weight.Initial setup was a right pain. It kept failing to pair with the app because it wasn’t establishing a Bluetooth connection quick enough. Had to start the process, switch to settings, manually reconnect it via Bluetooth and then continue. Now it’s set up, it works well. The Health Mate app is a bit chatty with notifications, but not annoying me yet.It also looks like this is no longer a Nokiascale as they’ve sold the company back to the startup that created it, Withings. So it makes my Nokia branded version complete with the LCD typeface feel pretty retro, which I like.

The convenience of having the readings automatically sync with my Withings app and Apple Health app is a standout feature.I’ll be honest; there are days when I’m not thrilled to check the scales after indulging in too much junk food. However, the fact that my weight is consistently recorded allows me to track my progress over time through the app’s informative charts and trends.One particularly impressive aspect of these scales is their ability to recognize the user and send the data to the respective app, making it a seamless experience for multiple users. I was so impressed with this functionality that I ended up purchasing the Withings blood pressure device as well.

Title: No nonsense quality scale
Review: If you want a scale that weighs accurately, does BMI, connects to a reliable app and doesn’t do weird body composition trickery, this could be perfect. It’s also larger than some of the cheaper ones so you don’t feel like you’re doing some balancing challenge first thing in the morning. The display is clear and the battery life is good. You don’t have to have your phone nearby or charged to get a reading, it is synced over wi-fi and you can check it later. Works with multiple users. The app is also excellent with a clean design and rich features. Superb scales!

Title: Nice readout, easy to set up, and good app
Review: Easy to set up, and synch its app, Healthmate, to other apps like My fitness pal, Google fit and Samsung health. Nice bright, and easily to see readout. Got the black version, which does need to be cleaned regularly as shows up dust and marks. But well pleased overall. Differs by about two pounds from my old scale, but who knows which of the two is more accurate. It doesn’t really matter, as the app records the readings, and trends with a list of readings by date, and a graph by week, month or year, and it’s the relative changes which are important. Happy with purchase

Title: Terrible
Review: Received the first set of scales approx one year ago. It was great, able to disguise automatically between me and my wife’s weights. About 3 months ago we started having sync issues. Reset the scales, it would weigh but not connect to my phone or WiFi. Amazon sent through a new set of scales. 8 attempts to connect it to the WiFi, it just says connection failed. Resets galore. App deleted, no change.Decide to just connect via Bluetooth, it’s connected but it’s been 20 mins and it’s still not updated my weight.If you want something to weigh you, and record the weight. This isn’t for you, or myself. Terrible.

Review: Very accurate for me compared to my previous scales. The app and set up was not hard to do at all, Just follow the instructions.When it tells you to go to the webpage displayed on the scale, just have the app set up on your phone ahead of time, then go to add new device, press the Bluetooth button on the bottom of the scale and boom it will set itself up.The key is too have the app set up before you start with the scale.

Review: TL;DR – While it’s a bit of a pain to set up at first, it works flawlessly after and gets out of your wayThe Good: – Connects with fitbit app – Connect it once when you set it up, then forget about it. All weighings are automatically pushed to wherever you set it up to push them (fitbit app, withings app, apple fitness) – Accurate – Weighs quickly without the need to “tap it first”The Meh: – Setting it up is a bit of a process. Took me about a half an hour and a couple of failed startsThe Bad: – It does send your stats to a server that Withings runs, if you want to have it auto-sync (which is the primary reason to get it). That said, if auto-sync is a feature you want, you won’t find anything in this price range that doesn’t do that.Before this, I had bought a fitbit aria scale, because I wanted to track my weight in the same place as my calories and sleep. The aria scale had two major problems:1 – the aria requires you to pull out your phone, hit some buttons, stand on the scale, and wait for it to connect to save your measurements. Huge pain in the still-too-large behind.2 – the aria is accurate +/- ~7 lbs. Which is to say, it isn’t accurate.This scale has no such problems.Setup is a little bit of a hassle, but it only needs to be done once.

Review: Farblich Modern, paßt sie überall rein.Die Waage wird täglich bei uns im Bad benutzt.Sieht toll aus, die Anzeige ist gut lesbar und besonders bequem ist das einfache aufsteigen auf die Waage.Sie muß nicht extra aktiviert werden sondern ist mit Aufsteigen an und zeigt das Gewicht.Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die rutschigen Plastikfüße, auf den Fließen im Bad kann man abrutschen.Wir stellen die Waage auf einen Teppich im Bad, so ist die Sicherheit gewährleistet. Oder man klebt sich zusätzlich rutschfeste Stopper an die vier Füße.Fazit: Tolles Gerät, tägliche Nutzung, schönes Gimmick ist die App.LG
