Title: Great purchased after much research. UPDATE
Review: After a lot of research I bought the Withings and I’m pleased I did. I looked at reviews on here, You Tube and Tech Radar, the Withings got great reviews compared to Fit Bit and other scales I considered. They display all the info I require weight, BMI, fat %, muscle mass % etc.The scales are accurate and consistent, I compared the results to the InBody system at my local gym that cost £5 per analysis and the overview was similar.Like most people I used them several times out of the box in quick succession, the results were consistent with little or no variation.The app is good to use and displays all your historical data that you can view weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually. I’ve linked the Withings to My Fitness Pal and Fit Bit apps. The MFP app link was pretty easy. I had to download the IFTTT app to link them with the FitBit app this was done once and it works fine. I like the results on the Fit Bit app is it gives you a weekly weight average which is a better barometer of your progress than a daily report.I bought the white ones after reading on here that the black ones showed fingerprints and footprints. They look great and they’ve spurred me on in my fitness drive, I lost weight, dropped both fat % and BMI.Thoroughly recommended 5 starUpdate 8/5/20Since I purchased these I’ve lost 7lbs, watching my calorie intake closely on MFP and weighing daily on the Withings. The readings go up and down but anyone who weighs on a daily basis knows this is always the case. The average per week is the key data, the info provided have helped me move in the right direction.

Title: Good product, although Accuracy can be better.

It is a very good looking balance.The app is great and it is easy to use, It can be improved though. Sometimes it is hard to find your weight metrics as it gives preferences to the other metrics.There has been opportunities where my weight goes off by 3 kg and I have to weight myself 3 or 4 times in the lapse of of 1 min to get the weight right.Overall it is a good product and it helps you to keep track of your body fat and weight. So far I ve used it with only one member, but it recognised very well when someone else use it instead of me and does not register the weight under my account.

Title: Accurate, but fiddly
Review: This is a good scale for sure, weighing accurately and giving me good body composition data to track weight loss etc. Only gripe is that it sometimes struggles to differentiate between the two adults in the house, despite a fair weight gap. But, I can work around it and generally would recommend this item.

Review: WITHINGS Body Smart is a high-quality weighing scale that works quickly and matches the NHS scales at the hospital, which means I am keeping an exact reading. It also has a quality App which works quickly and it does not miss one reading no matter if my phone which has the App is situated nearby or in the next room it will immediately take a record of the weight that I am standing at, as well as the percentage muscle/fat contents in my body as well as my heart rate. I do like this App and the weighing scales as I can now give my hospital consultant a full record of my vital statistics, heart rate, etc.I also like the broad flat area that the scales have for me to stand on as it is broad enough for me to stand upright and has a safe area for me to weigh correctly and safely, which is especially important for me as my eyesight is not strong.This is a high-quality weighing scale which along with its APP makes it an ideal way of keeping a reliable record of your weight and other health details especially if you accompany the scales with any of the Smart watches which are manufactured by the same manufacturer.A quality product which I would happily purchase again.

Title: Easy to set up, easy to use.
Review: My previous digital scale was horrible, it never calculated body composition, just kept telling me to wet my feet, and it was constantly loosing contact with the phone app and needing to be reconnected via a laborious process, and it ate batteries at an alarming rate. This one, in contrast was incredibly easy to set up and connect to the wifi. It seems to happily stay connected to the app, and sends readings to the phone via wifi so I don’t need to remember to bring the phone and sync it every time I use the scale.I wish I’d paid a bit more the first time, and avoided the annoyance of the previous model.Recommended especially for people with poor eyesight who have trouble reading numbers down by their feet.

Review: I’ve been using this for a while now and its worth it just for the app and the weigh function, it’s nice how you just step on it, it recognizes you and automatically uplaods, and you can see trends and data automatically in the app. This has actually been helpful for me to look back on trends for when i make progress and when I regress – and not get too affected by day to day fluctuations by seeing the weekly/monthly view.For the body fat measurement, I thought this would be very unreliable – so I didn’t trust it too much – but it turns out that after getting an InBody scan at my health center, this was within 1% of that body fat measurement. This is within the margin of error of my day to day fluctuations – the most important part is to be very consistent about time of day and conditions (i.e. what you’re wearing) and it will be pretty consistent.

Review: A pesar de que el precio es algo elevado en comparación a otras básculas, la calidad y precisión de Withings smart completamente lo valen. Recientemente dejé de usar mi báscula Aria después de más de 10 años de uso y una actualización de software malintencionado que pretende claramente terminar con el producto afectando a todos los usuarios eventualmente. Las métricas de esta báscula me parecen más apegadas a las mediciones de equipos profesionales brindando el detalle necesario. La app es bastante amigable y proporciona rangos sensatos comparables contra otros usuarios. Me parece que para aquellos que buscamos llevar un control preciso de nuestros marcadores de salud este producto es un complemento ideal. No entiendo hasta este momento las opiniones negativas, en mi caso tomó solo dos mediciones para mostrarme la composición corporal completa e incluir a mi familia entera.

Review: The app is surprisingly easy to use. It pairs automatically on the first. For any subsequent pairings the button is on the bottom of the scale.The free version of the app tells you your body composition (muscle vs fat) your fitness level, whether each measure is high, low, or normal, and your trends over time. It also gives guidance on how to improve.The scale takes a few seconds, then tells you your weight, percentage of muscle, percentage of fat, and visceral fat and shows the normal range. It also shows the user it thinks it’s measuring, your heart rate, the air quality index, and the day’s temperature. That’s a lot of information for a simple scale.I should point out, if you’re looking for this for someone such an an elderly person who has balance issues and can’t stand evenly with weight distributed on both feet and no winning side to side this won’t work. It’s very sensitive to any shift in weight. It will make its best guess and report an error. It also won’t shut off after that, simply display that estimate weight, which is both a privacy concern and a battery drain.

Review: The scale is sleek and according to consumer tests it is very precise and accurate. The Withings app is actually quite impressive as it can also consolidate your Apple Watch metrics into useful visualizations.I do not believe that the fat to muscle measurements are in the least bit accurate. The measurements differentiate drastically, hence they lack any precision or accuracy. That being said, this is a top notch piece of equipment with a great accompanying app. Definitely worth the money.

Review: Wirklich ein tolles Produkt. Die Einrichtung geht einfach und dauert nicht lange. Man kann verschiedene Benutzer hinterlegen, die ihre Daten jeweils persönlich auf dem Handy auswerten können. Für Kinder gibt es extra Einstellungen. Wer auf der Waage steht erkennt die Waage automatisch. Die Übertragung der WLAN ist super. Man muss das Handy beim wiegen nicht in der Nähe haben. Die Batterielaufzeit ist gut. Bei täglichem Wiegen muss man alle paar Monate die Batterie wechseln. Zudem gibt es noch viele spannende Möglichkeiten wie den Augen-Zu-Modus. Da habe wir noch garnicht alles entdeckt. Und die Waage gratuliert zum Geburtstag. So denkt wenigstens einer an einen.
