Title: Great value for money. Does the job!
Review: Was a little tricky to set up to start with but eventually I am very pleased with the results.We have our own cat and the camera does an excellent job of monitoring his activities. However, the primary reason for this purchase was to detect and deter a neighbour’s cat who randomly comes into our house through the cat flap, rips open bin bags and worst of all sprays to mark the territory. Apart from anything else this is leaving our own timid pet jumpy and traumatised. Up to now we can detect evidence of our visitor but haven’t been able see it, hence the camera. I should say we have our cat microchipped and are currently trying to teach him how to use the cat flap which looks like it could take some time, in the meantime we wanted the camera as a deterrent.With no experience of setting up anything like this before we managed to connect to the internet and link it to my phone so I receive notifications which detect movement and sound. When at work I can see any comings and goings during the day and check in at any point to view live footage. Alongside the camera I purchased the SD card (although you can also subscribe to cloud storage). Initially I was unable to get the video playback to work but after persevering it is now up and running. It seems to work well and enables me to watch clips. This is particularly useful for night-time activity and the imagery is extremely clear. We can detect our cat entering and leaving via the cat flap (which is currently pinned open) and the camera rotates and follows his movements once he is inside. There is the option to speak to him from my phone but this is often not that audible. There is also an alarm which is very loud and which I intend to use if the other cat visits.After having the camera for just a few days I feel reassured. It is working well and is giving me peace of mind…not spotted the interloper yet, but it is early days!

Title: Indoor camera good picture
Review: Indoor ptz camera, easy to set up with the aidot app out of the box, I had trouble when I changed internet provider and router settings changed I had to reset the camera by holding the reset button in, the camera gives clear voice prompts during setup, it has a very good picture even at night as I have it looking outside through the window, I disabled the night vision as I only got the reflection in the glass but the camera still has a nice bright image through the night.Update 01/11/23 this camera is still giving good service, the software (aidot) is a pain, as I have detection turned off, every time I go to view the camera it takes me to a page to set up detection ( I think there’s a charge involved) the only other niggle is the camera will not talk to any other app, program or device, I have set up a network video recorder,the tapo cameras were picked up with no problems, this camera isn’t picked up by anything, good for security but renders it obsolete in a multi camera setup. If you only need a single camera this is still a good contender.

Title: Nice little cam that does what it says
Review: Bought this camera, the Winees m2x 2k pet camera so I could keep an eye on my dog and record video on. Originally posted a review warning to others not to buy as there was no card slot for recording but on proper examination I find there is and I am now totally changing this review and have deleted all the comments regarding the TF card. The actual picture quality is really good, the digital zoom function is good enough as well and I get to see really good detail on my dogs little face from about 6-8 meters distance. Its a bit bulkier than other cameras which means it wont fall over easily compared with other makes, base is about 70mm dia and the camera is about 120mm high. The pan n tilt is a wee bit “not smooth” but certainly works. The whole unit still has a “cheap n brittle” feel about it but I guess once its located then you shouldn’t really be moving it about. The supplied usb power lead needs to be a bit longer and I am a bit restricted as to positioning the camera because of this. The app you have to install on your phone to set the unit up is a bit clunky and instructions could be a bit clearer for those a wee bit unsure of technology. On the whole, I would say its worth the money when compared to the other cheaper units available. In fact I’m just away to purchase another unit for my kitchen !In summary, a nice little unit that fulfills my needs and lets me see my pets are ok when I’m out for a few hours. Have only given 4 stars because of the “cheap n brittle” feel to the unit but dont let that put you off.

Title: Really great camera for price
Review: Bought this to use as a pet camera. Was so easy to set up using my broadband and phone. I love it, great picture quality, can move camera remotely, good night time vision, links to app on phone so I can log in and see what’s happening at home. Discovered you can also listen in and send voice messages. Had fun with that! Really delighted with quality of this camera for the price, exceeded expectations and does a great job. Would highly recommend as just as good as the really expensive ones.

Title: Great Camera. Top marks.
Review: Have this camera 5 months and it’s brilliant. Night vision is very clear. The settings are very fine for movement and sound detection so will take a little time to set it up to your liking so you don’t have many false alarms. As a camera the picture quality is great. I use mine indoors for the kids. I was able to watch the camera 7,000 miles away while on holiday with no issues. The cloud storage isn’t that expensive, €15 I paid for the month. I think is €65 for the year. But you can just use your own SD card to record, but be reminded the SD card can be taken and erased the cloud can’t even if the camera is stolen. 9/10 for this product. Highly recommended.

Review: I loved this little camera. Until I didnt.Purchased the first one in May of 2023. Now it’s June 2024 and the dang thing will not work. Worse I ordered the secound in February 2023 and I’m already having issues with that one not wanting to connect.
