Title: Good instructions that let me get started very quickly
Review: Â Pluses are that this is a really simple device to record speech and the result is very clear.I can also save a music play list and play it back via the earphones that are included.I do wish that it had some kind of built in speaker so that I didn’t necessarily need the earphones but it doesn’t seem to have that function. I’m not fully up to speed and it’s possible I can use my smartphone to hear voice notes – I know I can use my PC.It’s very compact and comes with 2 C type charging cables and a set of earphones which are small and comfortable.I need more practise but so far the instructions have been easy to follow.

Title: Mixed experience
Review: This is a voice recorder that focuses on being discreet, long lasting and easy to use. I think it does achieve a few of those but it also comes with some heavy limitations and quirks.The device is decently small, seems well built and has a nice bit of weight to it as well, likely due to the battery. There is almost no interface at all on the device; a simple toggle switch is all you have which handles the recording and power functions. To get any more use out of this requires use of a computer (to adjust anything) and the included earphones (which enables playback on the device through its additional buttons).It’s very simple to operate as it’ll automatically start recording when you toggle the power switch on. The battery life is excellent and the included memory is more than enough for hours and hours of audio. It also has a magnetic base which means you can stick it against a table leg, which would make it pretty nifty for recording meetings and lectures.The microphone quality is not bad, although it can be a bit noisy and can struggle to pick up the clarity of voices from across a room. If you’re recording voices that are within a couple of feet of the device, it’ll work fine. It saves all the recorded files into a folder and I’m happy that the device is plug n’ play and drag n’ drop supported – no fuss with drivers required for me.It has a voice activated mode and also some configuration options, such as quality and sensitivity settings. However, all of this requires you to connect it via the PC and manually editing values yourself. You cannot just toggle between settings on the fly through the device itself, so you’ll have to experiment to see which configuration works best for you. However, I think an additional switch or button would have been much better to toggle between the modes.The voice activated mode didn’t work very well for me and it seemed to skip certain parts of the conversation. You can adjust sensitivity in the config settings and the mode in general seems to work based on a threshold, but in practice I just found that it left audio files that started mid sentence. I’m sure I could find a more suitable balance by editing the config more, but I decided I’ll just keep it on manual recording mode.In the end, I think the value just isn’t exactly there yet as the device is lacking a bit in the user experience, voice quality and reliability, but it does have a lot of strong points too such as being rechargable with a long battery life, being simple to use, having a discreet design and a lot of internal memory.

Review: good voice recorder of good construction, it is not made of metal but it is still very solid and robust, the audio quality is good and records well even at a distance of 2 meters, simple to use and can be attached to metal surfaces because it is equipped with a non-removable magnet. No clip is provided but only a pair of headphones with cable and 2 identical USB to USB type C cables

Title: Perfect for recording meetings
Review: I use this recorder for keeping record of meetings to make sure I have all the information without worrying about taking notes and losing the flow of communication. It works really well and is easy to use, much better than using my mobile phone, which is what I was doing previously.

Title: Very poor voice recordings, tricky to use.
Review: This recorder has a very convenient size and shape to make it easy to start using in many situations. It’s easy to hold and has a built-in microphone so that no external wires are needed to record voices and other sounds. A single button is designed to turn the device on and start recording instantly. Turning the unit off stops the recording.When plugged into a computer via one of the USB cables the unit is detected as VOICE. Recordings and setup can be accessed by clicking on the name in File Explorer and finding the appropriate folder or EXE file.In the box are the recorder, a pair of small headphones with a USB-C plug, two 20cm USB-A to USB-C cords and a User Manual.However, the voice recordings I tested it with had very poor quality, despite setting the sensitivity high enough to capture sounds from about 20cm away. It definitely recorded my voice but the soundtrack wasn’t continuous, with words being left out as the recording progressed. There was no mention of this effect in the printed User Manual supplied with the device. This meant that the recordings were not good enough to record meetings, lectures, etc as the content sounded jumbled and confusing with vital words at risk of being missed. I tried the recorder several times in different situations and the fault kept occurring.Other problems with this product were:- The very poor English in the manual which made learning to use it very difficult.- The poor quality earphones which had a very restricted tone, with no volume control. The phones were of the type with no foam or silicone tips, which meant that they became dislodged very easily due to their shiny surface.Overall this is not an impressive product despite its promise as a discreet voice recorder. The price of Â£59.99 represents significantly below-average value for money.
