Title: Reliable and Accurate for Small Measurements
Review: I bought this scale for use in the kitchen, mainly for weighing smaller ingredients like coffee beans and spices, where accuracy really matters. Straight out of the box, it felt sturdy and professional, which gave me confidence in its quality. The compact design makes it easy to keep on the counter without taking up too much space, and it’s small enough to tuck into a drawer if needed.Using it is straightforward, with a clear digital display that’s easy to read even in low light. The scale can measure in various units, which has been helpful since I use both grams and ounces depending on what I’m preparing. The sensitivity to 0.01g is a real bonus as well—it’s particularly good for measuring coffee, as getting the right amount makes all the difference to the taste.It’s also proven handy outside of cooking. I’ve tried it for a few bits of jewellery, and the accuracy is spot-on. One thing I’d mention is that the tare function works well but could respond a tad faster, especially if I’m adding things in small increments. Title: Reasonably accurate scales for small things
Review: I say ‘reasonably accurate’ because you do have to reset it after each use if you haven’t yet turned it off, as it seems the scales don’t take much for them to lose calibration. Having said that, the fluctuations were minuscule, so for my purposes it’s fine.These scales are great for weighing small items like sunflower seeds or your favourite white powder – I mean salt and sugar, of course ;)The scales use AAA batteries, which is fine. It means it should still be operable in 20 years’ time when something that’s USB-C charged will no longer work because its built-in battery has long since died.

Title: Excellent for small level weighing
Review: If you need scales on the go for weighing smaller items, this is an excellent offering thanks to its compact design, accurate weighing and protected scale. I weighed various items on other scales and the result was always the exact same after removing and placing onto the scales.Although it would have been amazing for a higher weight limit (500 grams doesn’t leave you with a lot of leeway), it still served its purpose for me to measure small items when I am macro counting on the go.The RRP is very fair value as it is for what you’re getting (quality wise too as lighting doesn’t do the screen justice) and with the additional discount currently on it is truly excellent value.

Review: If you’ve owned cheap digital scales before, you’ll probably have expectations.This set will surpass them.compared to random £10 digital scales you can buy on the high street, this one has a more serious weight to it, the screen is illuminated, the types of units that can be displayed are extensive, it’s more responsive and has a far higher build quality.I don’t know when Vitafit turned their hand towards this type of scale but they truly excel at it, these are brilliant.Batteries included.The tare measurement did change once.. discrepancy was 0.006 oz.once re-set it didn’t happen again.

Review: Needed a scale that did smaller gram weights for some ingredients that are in smaller quantities. This one does the job well.It comes with batteries, so that’s a nice start. It flips open to protect the scale and screen and gives you some instructions too. Nice touch.It has grams, ozt (troy ounce), dwt (deadweight tonnage, something to do with coins), ct (carat – Jewelry), gn (grain measurement, i.e., gunpowder), tl (a measure of weight in Asia and is the tael), and finally oz (ounces as we all know this one). All but 2, oz and gr, I had to look up.Seems to cover all the weights you need, for whatever you are weighing… Backlit screen for ease of viewing. It is definitely portable, for what reason it escapes me… No it doesn’t…It also has a level bubble too, A nice idea for those of you who need it. Overall, this is one awesome scale for the price!I like this scale, and so will you… The price point is on point! Great item for a great price!Currently priced at $11.99, cannot beat a price like that, recommended!

Review: This scale, despite arriving with a user’s manual in both English and French, only has a reminder for instructions inside it in English. It does not come with calibration weights, which is fine at this price, but does come with two carbon-zinc AAA batteries, protected by a piece of paper preventing contact with the battery compartment until you take it off. There’s also a protective film on the screen.After using the button to allow opening it, I am met with 2 capacitive touch controls: I/O TARE, which turns on the unit or tares (sets the zero point) when touched, or turns off the unit when long-touched for 2 seconds. When switched on, if the unit is on an unstable surface, it displays “unst” and switches off. For reading results, the LCD is very well backlit with a blue light, which makes it readable from straight up, but does look like 88888 from an angle. It also has auto shut-off after 60 seconds of inactivity. Adding or removing weight counts as activity, keeping the scale on.For weight accuracy, with the level bubble in the middle:* A single microSD card shows up on three runs as weighing 0.25 g, 0.26 g or 0.24 g. Wikipedia has this kind of card as weighing approximately 250 mg (0.25 g).* A set of 12 microSD cards shows up as weighing 3.12 g. This has one card weighing 0.260 g, which is also reasonably accurate.* A pair of weights showing 3.6 g from a Logitech G502 mouse (rather old, so they are oxidised) shows up on three runs as weighing respectively 3.56 g, 3.56 g or 3.56 g; and 3.50 g, 3.50 g or 3.50 g. This points to inaccuracy between different 3.6 g weights due to the fabrication process rather than inaccuracies of this scale.And it is also very sensitive: a single toothpick showing up on the surface gets it reading 0.09 g, and a 0.06 g strip of plastic is also registered. I did get it to completely fail to register a 0.04 g strip of plastic or a 0.03 g bit of dental floss showing up, however. They only registered once I had a known weight next to them, and I was able to subtract the known weight.Its size is about that of an iPhone SE, but twice as thick. That is rather easy to put in a pocket, except for the thickness. I can imagine this being quite useful for many things, but not for jewellery, as the carat unit only has a single digit after the point, and often 2 are needed. A milligram-precise scale would be needed there.Overall, this is a ± 2% accurate, 0.06 g-sensitive and indeed 0.01 g-precise scale.
