Title: Broke after 6 weeks, can’t return or get a replacement.
Review: It fitted fine but it’s very thin plastic and I did wonder if it was up to the task. It wasn’t. It broke at the join after only 6 weeks of use. The dryer lives in the fitted Dyson box so it’s not getting bashed around or anything, the plastic is just very brittle.Given it’s around the same cost as an original part but easier fitting I thought this would be the way to go but it’s just a waste of money.

Title: Fits the dryer great and fixes a rare oversight by Dyson
Review: If you’ve got a Dyson Supersonic you know this little part can come loose and slide down the power cord, which is what happened to me just before it trod on it, breaking it irreparibly.As the part is non replaceable I had to start being careful with the filter as its delicate and exposed without the cover.This replacement part is open so it can be fit around the port cord and closed magnetically, in much the same way the equivalent part on the Dyson Hairwrap does. How Dyson never thought of this I don’t know!In any case this part is a perfect preplacement, if like me, you’ve accidentally destroyed the original. I’m sure there are plenty of you out there! 🙂

Title: A good buy, if you break the original filter mesh
Review: I’m not sure I’ll ever need the replacement filter cage but it seems to be a good quality item and easy to install. Then there’s the brush. It works well and will be useful, but it isn’t worth buying the set unless you need the cage. If you do, it will make a good buy.
