Title: Compact scale with built in timer
Review: Price when reviewed: £ 19.99.Package contents: Coffee scale and timer, batteries, and instruction booklet.This scale isn’t just for use as a coffee scale and timer, it can be used to weight most ingredients in the kitchen. The removeable heatproof non-slip silicon mat is easy to wash under the tap. The built in timer is useful but the volume of the beep is rather low, and you’ll need to be close by to hear it. The timer counts up from zero rather than down as most timers do.I like that the scale will measure in various units and measures down to 0.1 grams and up to 3kg. The gap between the weighing pad and display should stop any spills getting on the display.The font used in the instruction booklet, like so many these days, is very small and I found it impossible to read without a strong magnifier. I was unable to find an online PDF version of the manual.Overall, this is an accurate compact scale that can be calibrated with a 2kg weight. The built in timer is a bonus if you stay close by.

Title: Not suitable for espresso
Review: The scales are fine as basic scales and if your looking for something to use with a poor over, but for espresso their no good, why?1. Too high to fit under the group set and fit a cup on top, even if you have a naked portafilter.2. The timer is just manual so difficult to time your extraction.A final minor issue, the auto-off would not work on the set I received.I found a cheaper set of scales which provided everything these don’t.

Review: The core functionality of the scales proved to be unreliable, significantly reducing their convenience and practical value.I purchased these scales hoping for functionality and precision. The box was opened upon arrival, but I didn’t pay much attention to it, as I was primarily interested in the features.For the first two weeks, everything worked relatively fine, although I noticed a slight inaccuracy in the weight measurements. This wasn’t a major issue until today when I encountered a serious malfunction.After pouring 400 g of water, the scales started a countdown, but instead of displaying it on the timer dial, it appeared on the weight display. This behavior makes the scales inconvenient to use and raises doubts about their reliability.I have attached a video to demonstrate the issue. Considering this experience, it’s hard to recommend these scales to anyone expecting consistent and accurate performance.

Está fabricada con materiales ABS y se nota que es robusta. También destaco las generosas dimensiones de la pantalla LCD que incorpora.La báscula dispone de 4 sensores con un rango de pesaje que va de 0,1 a 3kg, con lo que es ideal utilizarla en la cocina. El temporizador es otro extra que integra la báscula e incorpora una función de recordatorio. También soporta unidades de conversión entre g/oz/lb:oz/ml. Para finalizar, comentar que el producto viene con las 2 pilas AAA incluidas.En resumen, báscula muy completa y precisa.
