Title: A Lot of Meter For The Price……. And it measures DC Current too……. Well Impressed!!!
Review: For the price, this handy little Meter/Tester is well worth buying! The fact that it measures not only AC but DC Current too, is worth the price in itself. To date, I am very impressed. Granted it isn’t perfect but it’s pretty damned close.Acceptably accurate, even if you have to keep ‘zero-ing’ to obtain an accurate reading. The probes that are included are a tad slow when testing for Continuity, but this is down to the probes rather than the Tester. As such, if you’re fussy, you may want to use some better-quality ones. Also, the included storage bag is a little soft and flimsy. It’s better than nothing but a harder case would provide better protection….. Again, for the price, one can’t really complain.I’m left-handed, so the trigger being situated on the left, works Very Well for me, whereas if I hold it in my right hand, I find it awkward to use the trigger but maybe you Right Handers, don’t have that issue! All in all, a Very Nice bit of kit that is very handy…… Literally, as it sits very comfortably in one hand, is simple to use and view the readings which are very/acceptably accurate.Basically, Highly Recommended!!!

Title: Used For Low Current Measurement
Review: As an Auto-Electrician, I have been after an accurate AMP-Clamp for quite some time, although not as reliable as putting a meter in series, a reliable AMP-Clamp can save alot of time when carrying out initial fault finding.I have used expensive AMP-Clamps but their price from the likes of Fluke, MAC and Snapon, all have been either unable to read the required 0.001AMP range or far to expensive for the job intended.A Pico-Scope is the go to for accuracy but the hassle of setting the thing up for something as simple as a parasitic drain, doesn’t warrant the extra time.My plan was to buy a relatively inexpensive AMP-Clamp, This is what I bought and these are my thoughts/results.Its absolutely awesome, after some testing, I would buy another in a flash.Again mainly used for parasitic drains, the basis of my testing was low current measurement. As with many clamps, zero the meter holding the clamp as close as possible and in the same direction of flow. The earths magnetic field can make fluctuations in readings, this meter coped very well. All tests were checked with my calibrated workshop meter. All tests were using DC.First test was 12v flowing through a 100 ohm resistor, {12/100 = 0.120} this would be read as 120ma, not mega low but a test neither the less. Result – Absolutely spot on (photo)Second test was a measurement of a 50ma Fan, the measurement I received from the clamp was 51ma, Still happy3rd test was on an actual vehicle with a complaint of a battery drain. Usual drain would be under 15ma on this particular vehicle, I see alot of these cars too and parasitic drain are not uncommon, I must admit, this was the main factor for my buying this meter, in this case its an Aston Martin DB9.Results -Drain found – 100maAfter removal of Parasite – 9maTested to be sure with a meter in series, all reading were correct, I now trust this meter. After some more tests, i found the meter to be very accurate at DC measurement, with the odd reading out by 1 or 2 ma at times.very much value for money,an improvement to the device would be to improve the back light, as you can see from the photos, its not great.

Title: Bought this to measure DC amps on boat and car
Review: I thought I had a faulty unit – now watched a You Tube video and realised it’s ME that’s faulty! Used correctly, this is an excellent device, very compact and great quality for the price. 5 stars!

Title: Decent for a amp clamp
Review: Nice solid feel, but I wouldn’t think it would last too long being bumped off the bench onto a hard floor. This is the best amp clamp I could find for under £50, which was my budget, considering I already have a couple of traditional multimeters. I needed an amp clamp to measure current without breaking a circuit and voltage in cables where accessing terminals is difficult to reach and manage current spikes on load. You can read the spec for this and compare with other models in the UNI-T range, so won’t list spec here.It is easy to use and performs well, the clamp opens to about the width of your finger which is enough for small applications. Voltmeter is accurate down to 0.01V in the voltage range and 10mV in the millivolt range. Current is not as accurate. If you are measuring large current, the Amp range is acceptable but in the mA range, it could make difference depending on the component requirements, TV, computer, PSUs, other sensitive electronic circuits, but for general indicator for diagnostics this is good enough for the price. I do find the auto ranging function sometimes not performing at all, and sometimes taking a long time, sometimes having to constantly select the AC/DC switch or the rotary dial.I would like to see auto ranging for current without the need to select 2A and 20A, sometimes the meter struggles to display reading appropriately. I needed to see mA but the meter decided to display A range, removing my need to see current value to the accuracy I needed to measure, 0.01A could be anything from 100mA to 199mA and needing to determine 150mA made using this a bit difficult. I have not checked but other amp clamps in the range might perform better but I did not check and suspect the price would easily go over £50I would also prefer the meter to either have a mechanical AC/DC switch or an AC/DC setting with memory, so not having to constantly switch to DC every time I switch the meter off or change the dial, because it always defaults back to AC.

Title: Good multimeter
Review: Good tool. Easy to hang anywhere . The only thing I don’t like as I’m using DC mostly. Always when I start it I need to change the modes on it pushing twice a button till is set in DC .

Review: I’m a fire alarm technician. This meter is great for reading DC amps for batteries. Really an all in one convenient little meter because I can so volts and dc amps for batteries with the same meter. I know a lot of guys that use this one. Very reliable and accurate.

Review: It’s too tiny, better call it a ‘Baby Clamp meter’. Due to the small display, it’s too hard to see the display in most field conditions. Better to look for a normal size product if feasible.

Review: Size does not matter.
