Title: Great little set for fine detail work
Review: I used to do a lot of painting but these days my hands aren’t as steady as they once were (nor are my eyes as sharp!). I’ve got a bit of detail work to do so decided to try these out but wasn’t confident about my own physical abilities. The price (£7.99 for 9 brushes at time of review) is very reasonable for decent brushes. They came in no frills packaging – plain plastic bags with the usual clear plastic tubes to protect the bristles. The handle is fairly short which I find very useful when doing fine details – less fiddly to handle. The finish is very glossy and I worried that they might become slippery in use but I didn’t find this to be the case. There is a trinagular grip area that is meant to be ergonomic. Initially I found this awkward and in use I found I naturally grip the brushes below this area, which actually meant the thicker triangular bit helped me keep my hand in place, so I liked that better than I thought. They’re also numbered so easy to organise and keep track of sizes, and there’s a good range of small sizes going down to the finest brush imaginable. They ended up working brilliantly for the task I had in mind, I feel like the triangular grip even helped me to rest the brush in such a way that it helped keep my hand steady, so I am very happy with these indeed and recommend them without reservation.

Title: Ideal for fine calligraphy and art
Review: These are very good for fine detail art work and calligraphy writing. Even for fine oil art.Varying sizes for different effects.The tips are scuptured to a fine point- ideal for dine detail.I’ve shown a few examples to give an idea of the results. I’ve used pen ink in the photo to give you an idea.They can be used with water paints, acrylics or inks and even oil paints.As an artist and calligraphy writer I often use fine tip brushes which are normally expensive, however this set is extremely good value. They’re not the best but they are good enough and I normally pay a lot more than this just for one so on the whole they’re good value.They are lightweight and comfortable in the hand and flow smoothly.Each brush has a plastic tip cover to protect it and each brush comes in its own individual plastic bag.I’m very impressed with this set, for the price it’s great value.I’ve given 5 stars because I can’t fault them.I think I’m going to stock up with a few packs of these as I do go through a lot of brushes and these are cheap enough to use with oil paints if I have to discard the brush afterwards.
