Review: These items are FANTASTIC and so easy to install. There are two parts to these socket / switch fascias – an inner white plastic part, which supports the electrical wiring, and a snap-on plastic fascia. You may need to use some gentle force to prize the top of the fascia from the other part, but I found that levering between the two pieces of plastic with a flat blade screwdriver simply popped them apart. Initially this hacked me off, but a firm fit is needed to keep the pieces mated when on the wall, so it makes sense!After knocking off the electrics (don’t just do MCB for the lights/sockets – do the main trip for the house to be safe) it took two minutes to swap the wires over and a further minute to use the existing patress screws to fix the white plastic in place. Then you have the fun of snapping the shiny, gorgeous black plastic fascia on top, and the satisfying clip of it being secured.You pay a small fortune for replacement sockets/light fittings on the high street, but these items are dirt cheap, look incredibly robust and instantly transformed our son’s room in to something far more modern.Highly recommended.

Review: Ideal for my new kitchen colour scheme. I managed to unscrew one of the terminals too far and had to dismantle the unit to get it out. You can do this with an E socket though so that was me not the product. I also have the silver version for the landing and hall ways.

Review: I nearly said I don’t like these. I have fitted several other switches form this company so decided to use their 13 amp switches. Near disaster! When fitting the live and neutral wires, one of the screws flipped and fell down inside the working of the switch; I mean, right inside the belly of the beast and I supposed could arc out between the internal parts. I stripped it all out, right to the very last component, and they are pretty delicate inside, retrieved the screw and now it is working fine and looks really good.However, a design flaw because the access holes to screw up the screws are too big and permit loose parts to drop down inside the switch workings.A very nice product but flawed: most other people would have had to throw this away.
