Title: Nice looking and it works good
Review: It has a vintage look and I liked it very much. The color is also quite beautiful. As soon as it arrived, I turned it on to check its functionality. Easy and comfortable to use. It removes wrinkles nicely. It has a part to put the hot iron on, which makes your job much easier. I really liked both its appearance and function.

Title: Excellent Compact Durable Travel Iron
Review:  Brilliant little ergonomic iron that functions well, with really simple controls. Looks fantastic, retro but still quite simple clean design. Lead is a little bit short for ironing standing up but not too much of a problem. Ever so slight chemical smell to start with but evaporated quickly and did not leave any odour or marks on the clothes.

Review:  As someone who travels frequently for business, having a reliable handheld steamer is essential to keep my clothes looking fresh and wrinkle-free. I also use at home if I can’t be bothered to use my normal iron as it smaller and just as effective.The compact design of this steamer is perfect for packing into my suitcase without taking up much space. Its 180° rotatable feature makes it easy to maneuver around buttons, collars, and seams, ensuring every inch of fabric gets the attention it needs.I was impressed by how quickly the steamer heats up, allowing me to de-wrinkle my clothes in just a few minutes. The continuous steam flow is powerful enough to tackle stubborn wrinkles yet gentle on delicate fabrics. I will mention one cap of water will be only sufficient for one item if steaming clothing, so if you have a few items I suggest filling to the maximum.This iron comes with cover for when not in use I would suggest to wait until iron has cooled down as it made from plastic. As you know plastic conducts heat which therefore will transfer heat and potentially melt. My only criticism is it didn’t come with a storage bag. Overall am satisfied with product.

Review: I travel quite a bit for work, and it’s perfect for getting those inevitable suitcase wrinkles out without the fuss of an ironing board. Works brilliantly on blouses, shirts, and lighter dresses. Struggles a bit with heavier fabrics or deeply set creases, but for quick touch-ups, it’s fantastic. Title: Impressive Little Travel Steam Iron – Helps Keep Wrinkle Free Clothing On Ironing Board Or Hanger
Review: PresentationThe Takilar Travel Steam Iron was supplied in a retail style cardboard box measuring 210 x 125 x 135mm, there is no branding as such but the detail states it as a Handheld Steam Iron with model number HX-6218. Inside the box is the steam iron itself, a stand for the iron and an operating instructions leaflet that does state the Takilar as the product brand.First ImpressionsThe steam iron has a handle at the top which pivots in when closed or out when in use, the handle has the mains cord at its rear and the only control which is in effect the steam control button – how much steam and the heat at each point, the heat is shown by a rather retro looking dial on the main body which also accommodates the filling cap for water. There is Takilar branding on the right hand side of the main body chassis (looking at it with the handle extended and from that point of view) which there are three colours throughout, the main colour is cream, with grey around the dial and filler cap, and also under the handle. There is edging highlights throughout which are in a rose gold colour and not my favourite aspect – though again it does lend a rather retro look to the whole device. The stand is in cream and has silicone insert stands on which the iron resides when not active or waiting for it to heat up. The cord length is approximately 154cm or around 5 feet – not long then but not too bad depending on socket placement and availability of an extension lead. The steam iron has a 200ml water capacity and can supply steam for up to 15 minutes (depending on the steam setting) before needing a top-up.Day To Day UseI must admit to being very surprised with this device, I thought of it as a travel iron in the main as it is small and as such rather agile, but I have found that its size and agility is a big advantage – especially on clothing that has pleats etc – it is much easier to work with it. The other huge advantage is of course the ability to press clothes which they are hung up – meaning you can get them looking fresh and wrinkle free without needing an ironing board – magical! Whilst I do use this at home, its main use is still as a travel iron – and in that sense I’m a little disappointed there was no small travel bag with the iron – but it isn’t a showstopper.Summing UpAn impressive little steam travel iron that is a firm fixture in my travel bag and it earns itself a full 5 stars from me even if it is slightly more expensive than I would have considered paying.

Review: I used to work for a certain famous lingerie store and there was a steam iron that we would use on our products before we put them out on the floor, and ever since then I wanted one of my own. This is small & handheld, but honestly I can’t really find anything negative about this. I love this product so much.I don’t use it all day every day, but I’m always excited when I get the opportunity to use it. In my job I have to look professional and presentable whatever I’m wearing, so this is great at getting out wrinkles and straightening out anything that needs it.It is very easy to use, and it starts steaming fast, so you don’t really have to worry about time. It come with a little stand with rubber feet so that you can rest it on the stand between passes on the clothing you’re working on.I haven’t used this for long periods of time at once, I just have it sort of sitting out so I can just plug it in and go, so I’m not too sure about how many passes you can do before the water runs out. But, it comes with a little cup to fill with a little spout to make putting water in the steamer easy & fast.The ONLY negative is that there doesn’t seem to be an on/off switch. Once you plug it in, it’s on. If there is a way to turn it off I haven’t figured it out yet (but again, I use it for short passes on clothing, so I don’t need it to be on/plugged in for long periods.) Once it’s on, you can adjust to three different steam settings.I really love this product a lot!!
