Title: Good kettle quieter than most but not super quiet
Review: Great looking quality kettle, its solidly built and matte so doesnt water mark as much. I didn’t buy it for its quiet boil but dont expect it to be super quiet. After the first 3-4 boils that you have to do before use it got noticeably louder but still not as loud as most kettles. Also if you boil the kettle half full it also make more noise than when the heating element is fully submerged for some reason. Only gripe is that the handle is plastic chrome which is probably going to peel off at some point especially at the spout end, would’ve paid more for a proper metal one.

Title: At last! A Quiet and quick kettle
Review: Thank you Tower. We have an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge and have tried a number of brands and types of kettles with low noise output. Most kettles are too loud for open plan living, noticeably disturbing TV watching or listening to music. A good choice is normally a glass bodied kettle as the glass doesn’t generate much sound or amplify the sound of the water being heated. We’ve tried Russel Hobbs, Morphy Richard’s, Bosch and iKitch. All started quiet but within a week of use, the noise became worse, even with glass bodied ones. The quality of some was poor and failed within a year. We had given up finding a reliable and quiet kettle, but took the plunge with Tower. It wasn’t cheap, but thank you Tower – it’s quiet and seems to be getting quieter with use after 3 months – with visitors not realising it was turned on. Just Brilliant. Thank you Tower.

Review: Yes, metallic taste. It is true. Nice looking kettle but did not last a year. Paint started to wear off around the edges of the neck. Sometimes forgets to switch off and keeps the water at boiling temperature long time. I would not buy it again!

Title: What a superb kettle!
Review: Until yesterday I didn’t know a quiet kettle was a thing. Our old kettle was making so much noise that you couldn’t hear the TV over it in our open plan living room kitchen. I bought this one because it looked classy. I did 3 boils to make sure there were no funny tastes and initially I wondered if it was working it was so quiet. And absolutely no funny taste. We love the speed, looks and quietness.

Title: It leaked just over the 1 year guarantee period had expired.
Review: Good looking kettle.Poor design:- Design not ideal. Had to handle it carefully as no automatic lid opener, it doesn’t fill from the spout easily – the water splashes back – and you suffer from steam burns if try to open the lid with the handle on top.Poor manufacturing:- Just after 1 year and 4 weeks [ manufacturers guarantee expired at 1 year] it started to leak where the side seam is welded to the base plate.Would not advise purchase unless you just want to look at it and not use it.
