Review: On the plus side, it boils quickly and is very light being mainly constructed of plastic. It is also attractive and easy to wipe clean. It’s maximum capacity for boiling is 1.7l and minimum boil capacity is 500ml. The main negative I have is that it is a noisy boiler.Interestingly, this was chosen because the lid is removable (the flip up lids on our last 2 kettles failed) and therefore the lid hinge mechanism cannot fail.My wife is very happy with it, but the noise it makes irritates me a little.
