Tortillada, based in Balingen, Germany, combines German innovation with an international team. This combination allows us to leverage diverse perspectives and global influences to shape our products.

VERSATILE – The pan is made of high-quality cast iron, which is pre-seasoned. The usable surface of the pan is 26cm. It can be used to prepare nice big tortillas, crêpes or pancakes. The pan is suitable for any type of hob, such as electric, gas or induction. Its weight is 2.0 Kg
CAST IRON – With the right care, cast iron is a very durable material that is practically indestructible. The material conducts heat very well and evenly, so less energy is required. In addition, cast iron has a very high heat storage capacity. Therefore food keeps its heat in it for a relatively long time.
PAN HANDLE – In addition, you will receive a handle guard to protect your hands from hot pan handles. It is green, made of silicone and provides an insulating protective layer. It is an ideal alternative for potholders and oven gloves.

Por lo tanto las sartenes convencionales antiadherentes no son adecuadas ya que no deben de sobre pasar una determinada temperatura mÃ¡xima.Esta sartÃ©n al ser de hierro fundido puede alcanzar altas temperaturas sin problema y las tortillas quedan perfectas.Funciona para todo tipo de cocinas: gas, vitrocerÃ¡mica elÃ©ctrica y de inducciÃ³n. SÃ³lo si usais inducciÃ³n tened en cuenta que nunca debeis usarla a potencia mÃ¡xima ya que la sartÃ©n retiene muchisimo el calor.Al ser una sartÃ©n de hierro fundido tendrÃ©is que tened en cuenta los cuidados especiales que tienen, como el curado inicial para que adquieran la antiadherencia, ademÃ¡s de guardarlas siempre secas y con una fina capa de aceite para evitar su oxidaciÃ³n.
