Title: My mind is officially blown! (or should that be sucked?)
Review: In the Discworld novels of Terry Pratchett every animate object has it’s own version of the grim reaper complete with cowled hood and scythe, ie the DEATH of rats (always uppercase.)My wife is the exception, she has crossed the boundary to inanimate, she is the DEATH of Vacuum cleaners.I am hoping that this is the Vacuum that will finally defeat her and survive more than 6 months, it certainly deserves to because first impressions are it’s awesome.Being a man I didn’t bother reading the instructions and just went at a carpet, my mistake as I seem to have selected Max power which actually lifted the carpet from the floor, this has some serious suction power.Of course I didn’t admit to my error and immediately sat down with the instructions to familiarise myself with its use then, fully armed with knowledge, I set too again, this time with far more success.In the past, ie pretty much every year, I have bought an expensive vacuum only to watch it die at my wife’s hand, not one of them had the power of this and we are talking some of the biggest names out there, I’m looking at you Dyson.My favourite part of this, we can remove the battery to recharge rather than plug the entire vac in, not that it needs doing often as the capacity is pretty darn good for a cordless appliance.Any cons?Nope, only issue I have is where to wall mount it, we are still arguing that point.
