Review: I had to use a pipe wrench and wrapped rubber shelf liner around a tub faucet a few weeks ago because I didn’t have a strap wrench and literally couldn’t find one in the local hardware stores. Then I acquired a hand-me-down strap wrench with a nylon strap and honestly, I’m not sure how I’ll ever use it on anything other than an old lead pipe because it can’t grip smooth metal or PVC.But this? This worked like a charm. I needed to tug that same tub faucet into place to finally get it perfectly aligned before caulking, and this Thsakzo strap wrench made the job trivially easy. Great tool and look forward to saving a bunch of hassle the next time I use it.

Review: This is a handy tool and does what it claims. The price is significantly less than similar products I considered. It could be improved, however. My issue is that the metal fitting through which the strap feeds is much wider than is either the strap or handle. This makes it more difficult to maneuver the strap around the part being loosened. It takes 2 hands to get it aligned. Perhaps in time I will figure out how to do that more easily, or perhaps I will in some way modify the metal fitting through which the strap feeds to reduce the width. Overall I am satisfied with it.
