Title: TOUCH IT TO BELIEVE IT
Review: Yes, I was skeptical about purchasing the Thinlerain Portable Monitor Toucscreen 15.6 Inch Full HD (1920 x 1080P). Why the skepticism? Well, for a start the asking price is a mere Â£109.99! You don’t see many portable 15.6 inch touchscreen enabled monitors for this low price. Well, to be more accurate, I haven’t been able to see a 15.6 inch portable touchcreen monitor at that price!WHY I THINK THIS PORTABLE MONITOR IS SO INEXPENSIVEI have to state that the build quality – though good – is very much on the plastic side. As a result, the Thinlerain Portable Monitor Toucscreen 15.6 Inch Full HD is very light. There are two sides to this lightness… 01. Carrying it around is effortless. 02. It feels a little fragile. Therefore, you can’t put it in a backpack, for example, and not forget about it. You can’t flop down into a seat with your backpack on, with the Thinlerain monitor in it as you’d probably destroy it. So, I am going to be very conscious about carrying it around in my backpack!It has no built-in power, e.g. a battery. This, I think, is a good thing. Why? In my experiences, a built-in battery can and will eventually burnout and stop working, thus making the device unusable. A built-in battery can make the device heavy. We’ll get to power in a bit…WHY DID I BUY THE THINLERAIN PORTABLE MONITOR?I had purchased another portable monitor, the Tekelron Portable Monitor 4k Touchscreen (reviewed by Yours Truly) with the intention for using it with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra via the DeX functionality, which, effectively, turns my Galaxy S23 Ultra into a PC. I felt the Tekelron 4K touchscreen monitor is overkill. But I have kept it for use with my PC. So, I opted for a HD (1080P) monitor instead.Anyway, so far, the Thinlerain portable touchscreen monitor works exceptionally well! This was surprising! I found the touchscreen to be very responsive! I love it! It is an extension of my Galaxy S23 Ultra! Bliss!POWERWhat powers the Thinlerain portable touchscreen monitor is a USB C cable to USB A, which goes into an electrical plug, which, obviously goes into a mains socket. This could be an issue if there is an intention to work remotely, e.g. in a cafe. With that in mind, I purchased the ONLYNEW Power Bank 27000mAh Portable Charger – PD20W Fast Charging Battery Pack with USB C Output! This seems to work pretty well thus far! Review on the ONLYNEW Power Bank 27000mAh portable charger will come in due course… You know me… I like to give a product some time as opposed to doing a review straightaway! A device could stop working for whatever reason!I can tell you that I chose the ONLYNEW Power Bank 27000mAh portable charger because similar products over 27000mAh capacity appears to be unreliable. I would love to be able to test such a portable charger in due course!Anyway… Let me conclude this Thinlerain portable touchscreen monitor review…CONCLUSIONThe Thinlerain portable HD touchscreen monitor is great to use. The picture quality is exceptional – I was expecting the screen to be somewhat dull. However, the screen is quite bright, and adjustments can be made.For me, as a Samsung DeX user, the Thinlerain portable HD touchscreen monitor is a no brainer! The asking price makes it a steal! I can only hope that this portable touchscreen monitor will keep functioning for a long-time to come.Once again, it is so very light that it makes it effortless to carry around. When it was delivered to me, I thought, momentarily, that the case I had purchased had arrived – it is that light!I am very happy with the Thinlerain portable HD touchscreen monitor, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!THINGS TO BEAR IN MIND01. I did not purchase the Thinlerain portable HD touchscreen monitor to play games. I would imagine that you’d want a portable screen with a higher resolution, e.g. 2K or 4K.02. The sound isn’t great. I intend to use a Bluetooth enabled set of speakers and / or earbuds.03. There is a built-in stand that pulls out of the back of the unit.04. Review: I did not need a really vibrant screen, this ones suits my needs perfectly as it allows me to read without having to use glasses.Fonts are really clear and item is very practical as it does not weigh much and easy to carry around.Connectivity is excellent

Title: I like the device butâ€¦.
Review: The device is actually great. Some people on here say it looks light and cheap and plastic – but in order to be light, thatâ€™s why they use plastic rather metal. Yes the finish could be a lot better but it is more than adequate. Itâ€™s incredibly light. Please be aware that unlike other monitors this is a reflective screen which basically means in sunlight you may have more difficulty reading it, then the matt screens. however, the reason why I bought it was because itâ€™s one of the few external screens which is also a touchscreen. The touchscreen makes a massive difference. In terms of usability. It actually makes this device a pleasure to use. Itâ€™s early days, but the only thing Iâ€™m apprehensive about are the USB connections. one of my USB cables would not sit in initially and kept coming out. However, the one provided fits nicely. However, at least the connections are on the left-hand side which makes it easier to connect this to a laptop or other device. If you was to use it as a right and additional screen. So why did I give it three stars? because the product they sent me was a refurbished one and not a brand-new one. I did think this was rather unfair and makes me question the ethics of the company. so I am returning it, but only to place an order for another one in the hotel. Send me a brand-new itemPs packaging compared to other externalMonitors I bought was very cheap looking telling you you’re getting a cheap looking product compared to others. Such a shame. This monitor could look great. One of the few monitors offering touch screen. It’s also more expensive than other more expensive looking monitors. This one is Â£110. Plus Â£20 for a sleeve I have to buy plus Â£10 for a matt screen protector. Total cost Â£140. Other equivalents but not touch screen cost Â£90. But I still like it. Hope they read my review and make changes to the next model which could put themAhead of everyone else.

Title: Really happy with this
Review: I was struggling with one screen working from home, so purchased this and it absolutely does the job. It feels a little flimsy when you first unbox it, but is more sturdy than initially touchy. Connects up easily with the HDMI cable that’s included and works perfectly as a second screen for two working from home days a week. Would recommend.

Title: Looks good feels good
Review: Sorry to all you Techies out there, but I am not really qualified to talk about Specs. This monitor is great right out of the box, I haven’t had to make any adjustments or set up, and the touchscreen is very responsive. It is not a well known brand, but I’ve seen branded screens look worse and needing adjustment. It’s very light and extremely portable although I’m using it to give my mini PC more of Tablet feel, making full use of the touchscreen. The price if anything is cheap, but the product is not.

Title: Flawed touchscreen
Review: I bought it from a different merchant and returned. While colours and brightness were ok, a key (for me) feature did not work. I needed this to use as a second monitor for a dual monitor setup. My main monitor would show the workspace for my editing and I intended to keep on the secondary monitor some of the tools which I’d access via a touchscreen. However, this monitor’s touchscreen only worked when the dual setup was set to clone, not extended monitor (as 99% of the time a dual monitor would be set) making it useless for me.
