Title: Efficient and useful
Review: This is just perfect purchase for my kid’s regular use. Time efficient and useful because all the time they took time to sharp their colour pencils and pencils. Now I gave them the sharpened at once and asked to sharp all colours and pencils after done their work for the next time so that their time and efforts would be saved. Easy to use and clean . Only need batteries to use it.

Title: makes sharpening pencils rather fun
Review: I admit there is never a pencil sharpener in our house when you want one. So the thought of having a battery operated one was appealing. We have not been disappointed.You need 2 AA batteries, those are not included, which meant a mad dash around the house to find two still working batteries. That accomplished we hunted down a few pencils and proceeded to sharpen them all remarkably quickly.It is easy to use, it does take a little bit of getting used to pushing the pencil hard down inside the machine so it wakes up and gets to work. And once sharpened you have to tug quite hard to persuade the little machine to give you your pencil back again.We now have a lot of very sharp pencils.Emptying the machine is easy, just pull the side off the machine and you have bits of pencil lead and pencil wood all over the table. Yes, the bin is a better place but we thought it would be a nice separate container full of bits, it is not.

Title: Effective and nicely built
Review: This is a nicely made sharpener and looks good on the desktop. It sharpens nicely and quickly, and the cutting blade is nice and sharp and correctly positioned, so no off-centre tips. It does need a bit of pressure to engage the motor but not too much, and there’s room for 4 or 5 sharpenings in the body. The only bit of advice I’d give is, when you open it up to empty it, do it over the bin! Good value, effective and attractive unit.

Title: Started off well but!
Review: To begin with this pencil sharpener worked well. However five weeks down the line the sharpener still spins but, breaks pencil leads, but doesn’t sharpen them. I know it wasn’t expensive but not worth the money
