Title: Brilliant ladder
Review: It was an expensive purchase, true that! But it caught my eye immediately due to its good looks. And eventually, since I had to climb high up to see the gas meter reading in a gas meter cupboard below the ceiling, I went ahead with the purchase.Now, as someone who comes originally from the city where the producer of the product is from, this was an extra special discovery, and only added to the enjoyment of the product which is pleasant to the eye, lightweight, and has helped us achieve the formerly unachievable and get these gas readings from the meter above the kitchen cupboards (which have a crack in the upper edge, clearly for someone less unfortunate – I suspect the lettings agency check-in person who had to take the initial readings!) has had to climb up there, without a ladder, and has clearly grabbed at the kitchen cupboards which must have cracked under the pressure! So, in order to keep the cupboard in one piece, this ladder has proven to be an invaluable asset in our household! And it is easy to store, and it is not an eyesore! Yes, it was costly, but worth every penny paid out for it! And while “made in China” – the discovery that its producer is tatkraft.ee with Tallinn, Estonia address made my heart warm as it is a known place to the members of our household, and we are glad that we could fill the wallets of fellow Estonians who have come out with an awesome product!

Title: Ladder is just as promised.
Review: Looks good, stable and sturdy, even for a big guy like me.Only quibbles – some of the trim – which looks metal in the pictures – is actually plastic, which was disappointing given the price, hence 4 stars for value for money.There was also a large safety sticker for real idiots (personally I’m not planning to use my stepladder as a bridge between buildings?) which was attached directly to the ladder (instead of in the box) and which took a LOT of work to remove (about an hour with paint thinner to finally get rid of the glue!). VERY irritating.As I say, quibbles for what is essentially a good product.

Title: Top handle a bit low
Review: Beautiful looking thing (4 step wood-like step ladder)! Seems very sturdy, but I find the handle a bit low: it is at knee level. Another 5 inches would have provided a more natural grip when ascending, better security when on the top step, and better value for the rather steep price. I can wedge my knees underneath the top on my old one, and this feels more secure and comfortable. As it is, I am sending it back, but because it arrived with a missing rubber case at the bottom of one leg, but I intend to order another one anyway, aesthetics winning the day! And by the way: even though the “producer” is based in Estonia, it is manufactured in its “industrial branch” in… China, which I found disappointing. The extra satisfaction of at last a European made product, giving work to Estonians, just fizzled away when I saw this!
