One fixing fit’s all, for double thickness plasterboard remove the white plastic washer from the fixing. T-Bolt is also removeable and reusable – just remove your items and undo the screw for the wings to retract, once the wings are closed you will be able to pull the fixing out from the plasterboard wall.

Review: There are many options and a lot of advice on fitting Tv on the wall, especially against putting it on plaster board. This kit is all you need to put your Tv up with no skills or experience required. Just measure where you want Tv to be to watch comfortably. Mine is something like 64â€.

Title: Great for hanging a heavy TV on plasterboard walls
Review: I have used these fixings twice now to hang flat panel TVs onto the plasterboard walls in my house. The plasterboard appears to be 15mm thick in my house. The fixings come with a spade drill bit to make the hole for the fixings. I have found it best to drill a small pilot hole first before using the spade drill bit. Once the hole is made you simply push the fixing into the hole and as you tighten the screw the ‘wings’ of the fixing open out within the cavity of the wall, giving a really strong fixing.I have hung a 40 inch and a 55 inch TV using these fixings and they are both solid. I would thoroughly recommend these fixings for hanging heavy objects.

Title: Not as expected…
Review: Bought these so I could put my TV on a wall with plasterboard. Turns out they didn’t work and I had to do it the usual way with a wall plug (which isn’t made for Plasterboard) so not sure how long it will last before the TV falls.They also seem kinda cheap and not strong enough nor long enough to provide safety for a TV. They look good and as expected. Installation is easy if done correctly and are suitable for the job but they didn’t work for me.

Review: There are many plasterboard fixing designs out there – they are mostly all useless. They fail to grip the board well and are liable to lull you into a false sense of security. If you truly want to use a plasterboard fasterner rather than the idea I suggest below use these T-bolt fasteners. They do a very convincing job – well, as convincing as a wallboard fastener is ever likely to be. They are supplied with a flat drill bit and are very easy to install. Just be aware – the length of the supplied bolt means that you are limited to attaching sheet metal brackets and shelves. These fixings are no good for wood and wood screwsIf you REALLY want to secure an item solidly to a hollow plasterboard wall just cut out a small panel with a multitool, insert a wooden plank through the hole, pu the cut out panel back and screw the plank in place. You will find tons of videos on YouTube showing you how to do this.
