Title: Almost impossible to use
Review: As a plumber I tried this product. I was advised against it before I bought it but I bought it. It’s very tricky to use.It is made from sturdy material and feels very robust. My concern is that its really tricky to use. It’s designed to get you access to awkward areas, mainly under basins and baths. To get the connection that you need to get the lock and turn is really difficult.You can flip the locking bar over really quickly in order for you to get a clockwise turn or an anti clockwise turn. This is intuitive but you just can’t get the desired grip on the nuts that you want it for.Yes it’s made well and feels like a proper sturdy tool for your tool bag but after I tried to use it on dozens of occasions, I bought the much larger tap spanner/steel tube wrench which is really easy to use and does a much quicker job.

Title: The answer to taps that have worked loose
Review: Over time taps on various fittings will work loose and fittings, especially porcelain ones, do not make it easy to access and tighten these. Taps are secured by a nut underneath and the jaw on this device can be manipulated onto this. Turning the crank at the other end will both close the jaw and tighten the nut.Yes a plumber could do this, and probably more easily than you or me – but what costs real money these days are not the tools but the person who operates them !

Review: Access under the basin was restricted. Needed two hands to use the item and see what I was doing while someone else held the tap rigid in place. Works well where a normal adjustable wrench will not work. To change from tightening to untightening push jaw against spring loaded bolt and turn 180 degrees and it locks. There are cheaper unbranded products with a T handle that maybe just as good but I could not be bothered with the hassle.
