Review: The Stanley Tylon 3m steel tape is very well made. It is smooth both in action and feel. But it is METRIC ONLY. If like me you like to compare the metric sizes of things against the old imperial sizes then you should be aware this tape will not do it. Otherwise a very good product.

Review: It’s a tape measure, small and handy to have around the home when you don’t need a larger bulky tape measure. It’s only marked with metric measurements on both sides of the upper surface, so don’t expect to measure in feet and inches. Great value at less than a fiver.

Review: I switched over to using metric for all my home projects, and my personal experience is that millimeters are awesome. It’s probably just random luck, but the mm is the perfect size for home projects. It’s the smallest length you can reliably measure quickly (without special tools and extra lighting). Metric literally requires less effort to remember your measurements and helps you quickly cut accurately.This Stanley 3m is very compact, and the case has a nice high-quality feel to it.
