Review: Made of metal, so that’s always good. Fits my USB ports just fine, though the transfer felt a little slow at times. Also one end will always be unprotected with this flip design which is a design fault I feel.

Title: Accurate speeds and good quality
Review: I used software to make sure the statistics were correct and it pretty much gives 200 mb/s read and 100 mb/s write, I actually got a little higher on the read numbers about 250 mb/s at its peak. The double-sided port is a cool feature that works on a PC/phone to give you an additional 64GB of storage.

I am please to say however that in this case I have been very pleasantly surprised!This is a clever design, with USBC at one end and the older style USB at the other – no more hunting about for adapters! It seems to be of great quality in terms of manufacture too, with good transfer speeds. Title: Too tight in USB A ports
Review: Purchased an SSK 1Tb flash drive previously, which is brilliant . This 128Gb one is equally well made and performance is very good. The problem is that the USB A side is too tight in the ports in both my laptop and desktop, itâ€™s a struggle to get it in and out. Never had this problem before with a flash drive or any other USB device. Iâ€™m considering sending it back.

Review: If speed transfer speeds is not an issue for you, then this will be just the perfect drive for you. It’s a metal construction with a good confident turn select between USB C and USB A with a click.The one thing I think this is missing is some form of protection for the USB A port, especially if you plan on dangling this on your set of keys, there is chance that debris could enter the port. The USB C port is protected as it’s on the flip end.64 Gb is an adequate size, perfect for IT enthusiasts.

Review: Wow well what do you know – sometimes a company you’ve never heard of before can really pull one out of the bag and surprise you! I had never heard of SSK before but I am extremely impressed by this USB drive.I’ve owned… must be a dozen or so flash drives in my time (I’m 41). This is comfortably the best one I have ever owned. For starters it is double-ended. It has USB-A at one end and USB-C at the other end. I’ve never seen this before. Perhaps I’m behind the times but it’s genuinely a new one on me. The unit features a cover that can go around over either end. It moves smoothly and has a satisfying click when it lands into place at either end or in the middle.The device is extremely well made. It is made from metal and has a smooth finish that feels good quality. “Feels good quality” is relative and difficult to explain with words, but you know it when you feel it, you know?!I checked the drive in my USB-C slot with Validrive, a program that checks disk sectors. Not only did it come out with a 100% clean bill of health but the check was over in seconds. Just a week or so ago I checked two USB-A drives and they took around 5-10 minutes each on Validrive. The device has a usable 58.2 GB which is pretty reasonable.Overall I am very happy and impressed with this dual-end USB Flash Drive from SSK. I had never heard of them before but from here on out they stand for good quality in my opinion. As I said earlier I’m in my forties and have owned loads of little drives like this. Except none quite like this – this is the best one I’ve ever owned. Seriously chuffed here and a new SSK fan!

Title: Decent little drive!
Review: Just to get this out of the way, when I plug this drive into my PC, its capacity shows as only being 58GB. It’s because computers use binary, as opposed to decimal, so there will always seem like a discrepancy but it’s only because of the way the maths works. Happily, when converting back to decimal, it’s easy to see that this drive does more or less have the stated capacity.Other positives in its favour are that the build quality is excellent. The metal body is solid and sturdy, and short of being crushed, will likely withstand any abuse I could subject it to on a day-to-day basis. It gets very faintly warm when working but nothing approaching hot.In terms of data transfer, I’ve briefly seen speeds of 121MB/S but on average it hovers around the 45-60MB/S mark. Still, that’s not too shabby, and overall, I’m pretty happy with this drive from SSK. At the time of this review, the 64GB drive costs Â£9.99, which I feel is a fair price.
