Title: Smart Plug for USB devices
Review: This is the ideal solution if you have USB devices that do not have an on/off switch. I have a a couple of USB devices that are plugged into an extension cable, and did not want the devices to switch on every time I needed to turn on the power to use something else. These are basically smart plugs for USB sockets, and can be switched on and off in the same way. They are easy to integrate with Alexa via the Smart Life app, which means they can be turned on and off with Alexa voice commands, it is also possible to switch them on and off via the timer function.So what is to dislike..? Well for me there are two issues, First the technical one. I have several of these, and one occasionally shows a notification that the Wi-Fi signal is weak and that I should place it elsewhere, yet it works fine both with voice and app. So why the notification, its just irritating.The second issue is the current pricing on Amazon, if you buy one on Amazon it cost 2/3 of the price of the 3 pack (or if you are buying a 3pack you will get each one at half the price of buying a single one). The downside of buying the 3pack is it is delivered from China, and therefore takes longer. Why Amazon charge so disproportionately for one item doesn’t make any sense, unless you consider the fact that a single is a prime delivery and the 3pack isn’t. Which raises the question are you paying extra for a prime delivery when you have already paid for items to be delivery in your prime subscription.

Title: great to add alexa compatibility to dumb usb powered devices
Review: Purchased these as we have a number of decorative lights which are usb powered. By using these adapters we can now control them by voice or set up a schedule for them to come on or off automatically.The devices use the Tuya app and were simple to pair. My only negative would be that when connected to a power point the pairing button faces the wall making it awkward to press to initiate pairing but this is no more than a minor annoyance and can be overcome by using a USB extension to make the adapter more accessible.Would have no concern in recommending these items to anyone who wants to add control / scheduling abilities to otherwise dumb usb devices.

Title: Handy but slightly flawed
Review: So I wanted these to allow me to remote reboot some smart home usb powered hubs. They do work and initially as least seem fine, I have then integreated to smartlife and so also alexa and home assistant. There is one flaw I note initially which is pretty strange, when you move these to their final location and try to plug then in they don’t seem to work unless you DON’T have a device attached to them until after they are powering up

Title: Great for adding remote power on/off
Review: Connects to Smart Life app easily and gives me ability to turn on and off USB devices from anywhere.So useful that I have repurchased this several times.The only down side is I need a always need to get a short USB extension cable to connect to this. USB plugs and sockets either have not enough space to fit directly or it protrude out too much. The extension cable lets fit it most spaces unintrusively.

Review: Stecker werden in 12V Steckdosen gesteckt und mit zB der Tuya- App verbunden. nschließend kann man zB eine 12V Lampe oder ein 12V Ventilator einstecken und entweder just in time per Smartphone die Lampe/ den Ventilator einschalten oder auch am Smartphone eine Zeitspanne eingeben, in der das eingesteckt Gerät betrieben werden soll. Das ist zB im Bezug auf einen Ventilator sinnvoll, der im Sommer die warme Luft schon vor Betreten des Raumes durchwirbeln kann. In Bezug auf 12 V Beleuchtung kann man damit bei Abwesenheit/ Urlaub auch die Lampen individuell einschalten, um Anwesenheit zu erwecken. (Wichtig für die Geräte, die mit diesen Steckern betrieben werden sollen: sie müssen einen Kippschalter zum An-und Ausschalten haben. Touchbedienungsschalter funktionieren da nicht.)
