How to enjoy your topper
Your memory foam topper will arrive rolled, compressed and vacuum-sealed so it’s easy to transport. It may look surprisingly small! Remove all the packaging and lay the topper flat on the bed. Allow up to 10 hours for it to expand to its original size before use
New foam smell
You may notice an initial odour after unwrapping your new topper. This is completely harmless and is normal with the manufacture of high-quality foam. The odour will dissipate with normal use, however you may wish to air first it in a well-ventilated place.

Title: Good quality, ridiculously comfortable.. and cheap!
Review: Have used the two and three inch ones of these, the oldest has been used for well over a year. They are good quality foam, I’m not sure I can tell the difference between these and the same density, more expensive, foam toppers. Make a huge difference to comfort levels and even out any lumps and bumps in the mattress. The three inch one has also been used on its own for guests with no complaints and even came camping once when the foam camping bed was drying!There is the odd really bad review that says these have given people back pain or made situations worse. This is because there ate different densities of foam and different thicknesses, if you get an inappropriate setup – i.e. something not dense enough to support your weight that is also deep you will end up hurting. That being said, a two inch topper on a bed that isn’t overly soft should be ok for most people as it largely just provides padding and allows for a slightly straighter back position… with hugely uprated comfort. Literally cannot describe how comfortable these things are.The toppers stay in place without covers on though willing obviously live longer if they are covered – I don’t bother – they’re more comfortable without!Like most foam products there is a slight smell which dissipates over a few days. While this is fine for most people, some with a very sensitive smell and a dislike for the odor will find it intolerable. If this is you, and you can, open it up in a spare room or hallway for a couple of days, that should help.Just bought another one of these in 2024 (original review above was in 2017 so my last one lasted a while!) simply because my old house was a bit mouldy and the matress topper also got a bit meh. Just saw this was 2017 and thought I may as well pop back here to say they really last.. very well!

Title: Wonderful Memory Foam Topper!
Review: Just a note if you’re thinking about buying this- YOU NEED TO GIVE IT A FEW HOURS TO EXPAND! Then it will go to it’s normal size. The reviews with photos of it not fitting are most likely photos of it straight out the box. This almost put me off buying it, but unfortunately people don’t always read instructions and put photos up before they let it reach its proper size.I’m extremely happy with the product and service. After spending a fair amount on a higher priced memory foam mattress that we expected to be great, we found it hard and ended up in pain from pressure points,to the point that sleeping on an old wooden futon was more comfortable! We noticed this memory foam mattress topper from Southern foam and decided to give it a go. We are very pleased we did, it has transformed our bed! My partner no longer has hip pain and my body feels so much better the next day. The memory foam feels so comfortable and I sleep so much better now, it has helped me to now get a full night’s sleep without tossing and turning from side to side all night. The memory foam feels like it supports my whole body. I’ve also got to mention that when it first comes out the box, it does need time to expand (after all it’s been folded for some time in a box for transport) but it only takes up to about 4 hours to reach it’s full size, expect a few bends and some discolouration straight from the box but after it’s had time to expand, it soon forms a perfect shape and all indentations dissappear. I’ve attached a photo to demonstrate this. It is the perfect king size we expected.I realise some people don’t like the smell of this but the smell of the memory foam is as to be expected for memory foam, all memory foam mattresses we have bought in the past also have a similar smell but after a day or two the smell does pass and it’s very much worth the comfort!The service was also great, it was delivered earlier than expected. We will definitely return to this company in the future if we need more memory foam toppers.

Title: Fantastic comfortable bed topper at great price
Review: Brilliant comfy bed topper, highly recommended. I was unsure about which topper to get and had read many reviews. I decided to go for this one, with the lower price being favourable. Best sleep my husband and I have had in a long time! We both had some joint pain and this had gone since sleeping on the new topper. My husband is 17 and half stone and it is great for him, no issues. Some notes with regards to other comments:Smell – yes there is a strong memory foam smell at start but it does fade. I also opened windows after opening packaging and aired room whilst waiting for it to take shape. Smell gradually fades in first couple of weeks and we didn’t find it that bad.Shape – when first opened it was very out of shape and too small for bed (king size ordered) but I followed instructions and left it on top of bed for a few hours and it expanded to a perfect fit for our king size bed.Value – definitely worth the money.Comfortable – I can’t describe difference, it is so good and really has made such a difference to a comfortable night sleep. I’ve ordered one for each of our children as they love lying on it too!Finally, One of the comments I read said there is only one problem with topper…you don’t want to get out of bed as it’s so comfortable…I agree!!
