Title: Heats up quicky and works great
Review: I’v had a couple of different soldering irons in the past but I needed a proper station in my shed that I could have a more accurate and granular control over the temperature on although I didn’t want to spend a silly amount of money.This one appeared to meet all the criteria so I went for it.The first thing I checked when I opened it was the cable between the station and the iron. One of my older soldering irons has a very stiff cable which makes soldering difficult as your constantly fighting the cable to get the correct angle. This is nothing like that and the cable is really nice, soft and pliable making it perfect. I opened the rest and put everything together and set about trying it out. It heats up amazingly quickly and the led indictor tells you when it’s nearly up to temperature by flashing.The iron is very nice to hold and the heat transfer to the solder was very quick and effective.The holder for the tips on the stand is a nice touch as you’ve always got them to hand and the integrated tip cleaner is great and keeps everything together.Such a great station without breaking the bank

Title: Great soldering station.
Review: Bought this for my husband and this is what he said:I was looking at a lot of soldering stations and comparing. It took me a while to decide and I am not disappointed. Lots of stations on Amazon have extra bits and bobs but I was not looking for those even though the price was similar and it was tempting to get one with more extra stuff included.In the end I chose this one Tilswall and I am very happy with it. It is well made. and it does what it supposed to do. It comes with 5 extra tips, solder in a tub and soldering wire. I am a beginner when it comes to soldering and I hope this station will last me for life. Handle is very comfortable and tip heats up ver quickly.Manual temperature control is easy to set, I didn’t need those fancy digital temperature displays as it is quite easy to read temperature range on this one. Unless you are very precise with your soldering temperature then I recommend digital one. As I said this one is great for my needs and if I want extra bits for my soldering I will buy it separately and better quality.

Title: Works well, but annoying hum
Review: It’s a great soldering station, but feels a bit old tech.Negatives: The base station hums when it’s heating, so that comes and goes which i find distracting. The stand is plastic, so not totally heat resistant which I find odd – I expect this to get lots of burn marks over time.Positives: Stand is large and sturdy and separate from the base station, which I why I chose this iron. Temperature control is good and simple to set.Would like to have seen recommended temperatures for solder included, but found these on the internet.

Title: Great soldering station
Review: I’ve been using soldering stations for years & this one is a really great option. I found lots of low cost ones from China listed, but didn’t feel they would last (perhaps I was wrong?). In any case after looking on the professional electronics equipment sites like Farrell and RS, I decided to order this unit & have been really impressed. It’s well made, feels solid and robust, heats up fast and temperature controls works well. I hope it lasts as well as my previous RS components solder station (15 years!). Recommend this one for electronic hobby’s, wiring etc.

Title: 65w soldering iron
Review: I’m no expert, and definitely need to practice my soldering technique, but this seems to be well made for the price. Yes there are better units available but you pay a premium for those and as I bought this mainly for RC car use it’s perfectly fine.The iron heats up quickly and the various tips provided from fine to large all fit and work without issue. They’re also very easy to swap. I can’t comment on long term use having only had the unit a few weeks but I’ve used it regularly and are very happy with my purchase.

Title: Feels like a quality product
Review: Having not bought a new soldering iron for many years, I was unsure about buying an unfamiliar brand. First impressions are very good. The power supply has a good weight and heft to it. If I was going to quibble I’d say the mains lead could be a bit longer, but at least it’s socketed so it would be easy to plug in a longer one. The stand works well and is stable enough. The flex from the station to the iron is nice and supple and of reasonable length. The iron heats up fast and it easily completed its first task which was de-soldering some big joints that defeated my old lower-wattage iron. I chose this over other units because of favourable reviews and because it isn’t too gimmicky, and didn’t come with a lot of accessories that I already have.

Title: A Real Quality Feel
Review: A real quality feel as soon as you open the box. Each component is individually boxed within the outer box which immediately gave me confidence – everything just looked and felt good. The transformer and iron stand both have a substantial feel and I really like the design. This replaced a dangerous station I bought and returned with a digital temperature readout but I much prefer the ease of the control on this machine. It warms up quickly and is easy to use. I have not yet used the spare tips but, unlike the last station I bought, they fit well and appear to be of a good quality. I have been soldering as a hobbyist/diy repairer for years and think this will help make those jobs quicker and more enjoyable. Really looking forward to giving it more use!

Title: Dubious quality
Review: Was impressed with this soldering station when I first received it, it looked good and was easy to put together. However, after only 20 minutes of normal use, something in the power supply blew with bang and smoke, so back in the box it went. Thankfully I got a full refund since this was within Amazon’s 30 day returns window. Perhaps I was unlucky, but it seemed pretty poor for a new product to fail so quickly.I ended up buying a high quality brand soldering station instead, more expensive but it works well.

Review: La estación es de material de buena calidad, robusto y aunque es toda de plástico es resistente al calor. El cautín es práctico, fácil de manejar y trae 5 puntas de gran calidad. Estando caliente cumple con su función satisfactoriamente. El único problema es el tiempo que demora en alcanzar la temperatura en general. Es algo demorado y pareciese que también le cuesta trabajo mantener la temperatrura puesto que aún una mínima corriente de aire, (como la de un extractor de vapores de soldadura) hace que pierda calor y necesite aumentarse en el control para mantener al cautín derritiendo el estaño. Sin embargo, en lo que a mi respecta, la estación me gusta y a pesar del defecto con la temperatura, me siento contento con ella y me funciona bien.

Review: Como refiro no título o produto é de boa qualidade, sendo modelar é fácil de armazenar. Aquece rápido e como tal funciona muito bem, o plástico é de boa qualidade. Os únicos defeitos que encontrei é a “knob” da temperatura que parece um algo solta e o ferro de soldar não encaixa perfeitamente no suporte o que faz com que este fique saliente para fora o que é um bocado perigoso se se tiver um espaço apertado para trabalhar.

Review: Per l’uso, non professionale, che ne faccio io è una stazione saldate valida e dal rapporto qualità prezzo estremamente interessante. La uso principalmente per saldare occasionalmente circuiti elettronici e, secondo me, è potente e comoda da utilizzare. Acquistata per sostituire un saldatore a penna di marca, senza regolazione della temperatura, che ormai, visti gli anni alle spalle, scaldava eccessivamente anche l’impugnatura. La stazione arriva ben imballata e tutti i componenti separati in diverse scatole. Il peso della stazione è i piedini gommati la tengono ben ferma sul banco da lavoro. La stazione è dotata di un potenziometro per la regolazione della temperatura e un led che lampeggia quando questa viene raggiunta. Mi ha sorpreso la velocità di riscaldamento.Il cavo del saldatore è molto flessibile e abbastanza leggero rendendo la saldatura confortevole. L’impugnatura e rivestita in silicone. La base d’appoggio del saldatore è ben bilanciata e i piedini in gomma la tengono ferma. La stazione arriva corredata da diverse punte e una paglietta per pulirle. Con la punta più sottile sono riuscito a fare la saldatura di un filo in un piccolo pin (vedi foto) che non sarebbe stato possibile eseguire con il mio vecchio saldatore. Prodotto consigliato
