Title: Not user friendly
Review: The kettle plug does not align with the sockets in the UK, and when you buy a plug, it doesn’t work because apparently the kettle must be used directly in the socket. So am stuck with this since I threw away the box thinking it will work. Don’t recommend it for those in the UK, the sockets don’t support it

Review: Den Smeg Wasserkocher habe ich über Amazon gekauft mit angekündigter langer Lieferzeit, dafür aber zu relativ günstigem Preis. ( kam dann doch etwas früher)Der Wasserkocher hat alles was es braucht. Temperatureinstellung, Warmhaltefunktion, Signalton (bei Bedarf auch abstellbar), tolle Haptik.Zudem finde ich das Design echt schön.Ich bin begeistert ( ebenso vom Toaster, der ebenfalls alle Funktionen hat, die man braucht. ( Warmhalten, aufwärmen, defrost).Tolle Geräte, jetzt müssen sie ,für den stolzen Preis , auch lange halten. Dazu kann ich noch nichts beitragen, ich habe beide Geräte erst 2 Monate.

Review: The kettle is well built and efficient – it brings water the boil very quickly. It’s a good looking piece of kit, and it’s heavy too which adds to the feeling of quality. Some accuse Smeg of being appearance over quality but we can’t complain about either!
