Review: Looks good and sticks really well . Iâ€™m always dubious when it says no drill. I was expecting to come home find all the knives on the cooker but itâ€™s actually really sturdy and and holds all the sharp knives which is great with my grandson in the drawers all the time , but of peace of mind

Review: Pros- it’s strong enough for most knives and pizza cutters- it looks nice enough- the adhesive is great and sticks well- a satin type clear coat on itCons- not the best finish- not the best cuts of wood- it is quite heavy compared to another magnetic holder I haveI’ll start with the cons for those who care about the finish.It would appear that there is dents in the wood that the finish has been put over. So it’s not perfect if that’s a big deal to you.There’s a little bit of finish that has come off so you can see the wood underneath. It’s not walnut. It’s just coated to look like walnut or may it’s a very pale walnut, but it’s not the dark brown under the finish that I would expect from the colour of it. It may just be stained with quite a heavy stain though as you can get lightish walnut.It is quite heavy considering the size of it. I would suspect that it’s the magnets. But it does have a fairly good strength for most things. A small meat cleaver looked like it was going to slide at first but it didn’t.For good points, with the dents and imperfections in the wood it does have a more rustic styling to it. Which might work for what you’re looking for.The adhesive really is good. I’ve got it stuck to tiles that aren’t perfectly flat and it’s holding up so far. Although if grease in the air from cooking gets behind it that might change.I like the satin coating that’s on it. Just helps finish and protect it a little more.Might be a little over the top pricing wise as I do prefer the other one I use for wood carving tools. But on the whole it’s a pretty good product and it works as intended. Just some people might have an issue with the quality control in regards to the finish. I might have just got unlucky though.

Title: Very impressive and useful knife rack
Review: This was the first magnetic knife rack I ordered (have since gotten hold of another one), having meant to get one for quite some time before finally ordering. In our kitchen, storage space is at something of a premium and I’m always wary of having sharp knives buried away in draws so the ability to take at least some of my knives out and storing them on the wall instead is very welcome. This rack comes with an adhesive strip to allow mounting without having to drill any holes for screws etc. and so would also allow mounting on things like the sides of storage units etc. instead of a wall if preferred; given that I’ve hung some pretty hefty knives on this one (one of them is a meat cleaver), it’s clear that the magnetism is definitely strong enough to take on all comers in this regard although you definitely need to attach the knives handle-uppermost rather than the other way around as some of the product pictures show. Overall, very happy with this rack, so much so that I had to get another similar one. Which I suppose means I need a few more knives to fill it!

Title: Donâ€™t waste your money!
Review: Thought this was too good to be true! And it was! Wasnâ€™t even up 5 minutes and I heard a massive crash from the kitchen! It had fallen down! When I felt the weight of the item I knew it would be too heavy but thought Iâ€™d give it a go anyway! Wish I had trusted my instincts now

Title: Great rack, can hold a good weight
Review: I ordered this to hold extra kitchen utensils in the kitchen inside the cupboard door and it does the job admirably. I wondered just how strong the magnets would be and what weight they could take but I needn’t have worried as I can hang heavy kitchen shears on it with no problems. I did find a bread knife was slightly slipping with the movement of the door but feel if this was fixed to a wall this would not be an issue.I ordered the bamboo finish and it is lovely and matches well with my kitchen. It is rather heavy, though, but the adhesive can cope with this and works well.I could see one of these being useful in the shed to hang hand garden tools as it could easily cope with the weight. Possibly it could also be used in a sewing or craft room for hanging equipment as I think this is a very versatile rack.A good price for a quality item.

Review: Positives:-Made of bamboo – excellent quality finish.Very strong magnetic bar.Full length 3M PE Foam self-adhesive pad.Very easy to install.Bamboo is eco-friendly.Negatives:-None at all.Observations:-Came in a plain brown cardboard box, which fitted the Magnetic Knife Holder like a sheath.Inside the box it was protected in a clear plastic bag, which also fitted like a sheath, and a full length piece of brown cardboard covered its face.Conclusion:-I am a great fan of bamboo products, especially when the quality is top notch, and this product falls well within that category.Also, I am a great fan of 3M self-adhesive products, which over many years have proven to be very reliable and durable.So I am very pleased that this top quality Bamboo Knife Holder came fitted with a 3M PE Foam self-adhesive pad, especially as this is quite a heavy product for its size, even without anything attached.Finally, it has a very strong magnetic bar, which is capable of holding heavy items securely in place magnetically.IMO, this is most definitely a 5 star product!

Review: Die dunkle OberflÃ¤che der Messerleiste verleiht ihr einen ansprechenden Look, der gut in meine KÃ¼che passt. Das glatte Material sollte auch langfristig gut Stand halten, wenn man die Messer vorsichtig anbringt und lÃ¶st. Die Leiste verfÃ¼gt Ã¼ber eine ausreichend starke Magnetkraft. Selbst meine grÃ¶ÃŸeren Kochmesser bleiben sicher an Ort und Stelle haften, ohne abzusinken. Richtig gelagert behalten die Klingen ihre SchÃ¤rfe und ich bin dadurch vor ungewollten Schnitten geschÃ¼tzt. Neben den Messern kÃ¶nnen auch andere Kleinwerkzeuge aufgehangen werden. Nach intensiver Nutzung kommt es jedoch unweigerlich zu leichten Kratzern im Holz. Langfristig muss sich noch zeigen, ob die OberflÃ¤che Ihren Zweck auch mit schÃ¶ner Optik beibehÃ¤lt. FÃ¼r den Moment bin ich aber mit FunktionalitÃ¤t und Haltbarkeit zufrieden. Da ich einen glatten Untergrund habe, haftet die Magnetleiste zuverlÃ¤ssig. FÃ¼r rauere OberflÃ¤chen fehlt eine alternative BefestigungsmÃ¶glichkeit. Insgesamt hat sich die Anschaffung fÃ¼r mich gelohnt.
