Title: Class memory; software does not include backup
Review: SK Hynix are a known for their fast, quality memory, quite often they are the chips in other labelled memory. My T-Group Create DDR5 7200MHz has SK Hynix chips, so the SK Hynix Platinum P41 PCIe Gen4 was an easy choice for storage and, also in keeping with the overclocked i7-14700K CPU in a ROG STRIX Z790-H motherboard. It’s runs smoothly but hotter than the WD SN850X boot drive, despite the large integral heat sinks in the Z790-H and, being single-sided memory. That said, the temperature is still below 40 deg. C in an air-cooled set-up. My recent Amazon reviews include the system I’ve described here: ROG STRIX Z790-H motherboard, i7-14700K CPU, T-Group DDR5 7200 memory, and WD SN850 Gen 4 memory.The software download is not mentioned in the SK Hynix installation sheet; you have to find it via an internet search. There’s a drive manager app and, a separate Macrium cloning app. Unlike Western Digital, there isn’t a backup imaging app; I toyed with deducting a star for that but didn’t.In summary: class chips, but you’ll need an imaging app for backups. The Amazon Black Friday price was too good to ignore.

Review: Bought this as an external “project drive” for my M4 Max MacBook Pro. I had absolutely NO issues with this drive. Previously, I had a WD SN770 SSD….had it for one day…loaded it with some saves and later shut down my computer. The next day I could no longer find the drive. My Mac could not detect it no matter what I tried – disk utility, etc. I returned that drive and bought this SK Hynix platinum drive. Best decision! I ran into no such detection issue with this drive. I am getting around 2200 mbps write and about 3000 read. It may not be the fastest…..but it’s more than fast enough for my purposes. 5 stars!!!!!!!!

Review: Tiene buena respuesta y velocidad, pero le falla el arranque y es más lenta que la que traía mi laptop de fábrica, tiene 1000 MB menos de lectura y 420 MB menos de escritura. Review: J’ai acheté SK Hynix Platinum P41 SSD Interne 1To PCIe NVMe Gen4 pour remplacer un SK Hynix Platinum gen3 de 512 GO sur mon pc HP portable victus de trop petite capacité.J’ai trouvé le logiciel de clonage sur le site de Hynix, j’avais acheté au préalable le boîtier externe pour recevoir le nouveau ssd et le cloner. Ensuite il n’y a plus qu’à ouvrir le portable et changer de ssd. Le tout m’a pris 45 mn.Je recommande le produit.
