Review: I brought this item purely for art purposes. It works well and gets heated quickly and sufficiently for what I need it for.
Its okay if you need it for very basic things.
Only thing that disappointed me was the length of the cable as it is very short!

Title: Broke after just one use.
Review: I bought this Soldering Iron for occasional and infrequent use. I used it once and it was satisfactory. The second time I went to use it, it didnt get hot at all and is useless (I have checked the fuse).
So, only used it once in about 18 months and by the time I needed it again it was out of warranty.
I contacted Silverline and they replaced the item, even though it was out of warranty – Fair Play.

Title: Very useful!
Review: I didn’t need this for soldering but for small craft projects. The fine tip is excellent for this and helps me to do fine accurate lines. I have no intention of soldering with it so could not comment on its use as a soldering tool.

Title: Tough soldering iron
Review: Bought this soldering iron to do some plastic welding on my front bumper (smooth numberplate recess). Soo far it can handle alot of abuse . Honestly thought it would die/pack up because it’s cheap but it’s still working fine. Good value for the money

Review: Buscaba un soldador barato para arreglos caseros y cumple perfectamente: se calienta rápidamente y se pueden usar diversos calibres de puntas.
Sería perfecto si llevara un interruptor de corriente para no tener que desenchufar para apagarlo.

Review: Je l’utilise pour des petites réparations de cartes électroniques. La puissance est bien meilleure que mon ancien fer à souder. Pour le moment, il est capable de faire fondre toutes les soudures que j’ai besoin de retirer.

Review: Tras un par de meses me he atrevido a probarlo, funciona estupendamente. Alcanza la temperatura adecuada y no se sobrecalienta. No compres uno en los chinos, no llegarás a usarlo.
La única pega, en la descripción del artículo pone que trae adaptador para enchufe europeo pero no lo trae, tendrás que disponer de uno para enchufarlo. Por esto le quito una estrella.
