Title: Great budget speaker
Review: With the speaker being this cheap, I thought it would be bad in some sort of way. Whether that was poor sound quality or poor build quality. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. This speaker not only sounds really good but it has some super useful features.The super useful features it has is USB-C charging – this means it charges way faster than if it was a micro usb (providing you use a plug, it will charge in about 20 minutes). And not only that but it also has a slot for a memory card, so you can just play music without even connecting to a device.The sound isn’t cutting edge amazing, but in terms of sound quality versus the price, it has to be up there as one of the best sounding for this price point.

Title: Can’t go wrong for this price 🔊
Review: At £15.99 this speaker is a bargain.It makes a decent amount of noise for it’s size and sounds very good for this sort of price point. It’s perfect to pop in your bag or pocket for a day out at the beach. It takes a micro SD card so you can load your own music or the Bluetooth can be used with your smartphone. It’s well made and solidly built with basic controls and good protection from water, I wouldn’t drop it in the pool but it will take a splash or two.I recommend this 👍

Title: Good sound but glitchy bluetooth
Review: It’s very convenient to have a wireless speaker, both for casual use and as part of a neater desk set-up, so I was keen to try this one.Firstly, it’s quite big and heavy compared with many in the same price band. It has a good-looking matt black finish, and the instructions are clear and simple to understand. The ability to load music or podcasts onto an SD card to play back using it as a stand-alone unit is great, particularly if you go out of wifi coverage as i often do when I’m camping.And this latter is how I shall probably use this speaker: to take with me in my campervan. This is because after using it for a couple of days as my computer speaker, I found the glitchy bluetooth connection very irritating. Basically, every few minutes the connection had a blank or silent ‘stutter’. I looked online to see what can cause that, and none of the possible rectifiable causes applied: the speaker was right next to the transmitter (my computer) and there was no clear cause I could find. This doesn’t happen with the speaker I was previously using, although I have also experienced it with another one I tested. It may be because I am also using bluetooth keyboard and mouse that are resulting in some form of interference, but that is something that a speaker has to be able to cope with to be useful for me. I’ve docked two stars for that, but it may be that others don’t have the same issue.Apart from this, the sound was good: not too toppy or bass-y and I’ll be happy to use with the SD card.

Title: Great sound from stylish speaker
Review: Price when reviewed: £ 17.99.The speaker comes with USB-C charging cable and instruction leaflet.This speaker is finished in a black rubber like material. There are 4 buttons on the top, power on, play/pause, Bluetooth control, and volume. On the back is a tethered rubber cover protecting the USB-C charging port, micro-SD card slot, and 3.5mm Aux in.It paired quickly with my phone and laptop and the Bluetooth connection was stable.At this price level the sound is very clear. There isn’t much bass, but that’s how I prefer my music, as I find too much bass muddies the sound for me.The volume goes up far louder than I would ever use to listen to music. The sound quality from films played via a DVD player is good and speech comes through clear.I really like this portable Bluetooth speaker. The sound quality, reduced bass, portability, and style is really good.

Title: Blutooth connected in seconds.
Review: The ‘SERENE GALAXY Bluetooth Speaker Wireless, 10W’ arrived in a branded box that also contained instructions and a USB A to USB C charging cable.The first noticeable thing was the speaker was not just shiny plastic; it had a nice matt finish to it, so immediately creating expectations.I do need to get a microSD card to store some music on, to make the speaker truly stand alone.Connection to my phone via Bluetooth took just a matter of seconds coming up as ‘F13 V5.0.1’.To test the audio quality I played a couple of tracks and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of sound from such a small unit. And as I am not one for over done base, the rest of the music wasn’t drowned out.Having an aux input also allows me to connect the speaker to my audio splitter for when I am not using headphones for the computer, as none of my current monitors have built in speakers.

Title: Bluetooth Speaker
Review: At £20 I was expecting thick muddy bass and not a lot more, like so many other Bluetooth speakers. It isn’t like that at all, it has highs which can at times feel quite sibilant and mids, but the mids are not overemphasized like so many other cheaper bits of kit. Bass is where it does fall down, there really isn’t much of it at all. Not sure what they mean when they say bass in emphasised because it really isn’t which is a nice change. Somehow, the lack of muddy bass makes these speakers easier to listen to.The speaker seems to have been design when the design team was on holiday. It is just a box with a speaker grill and a few buttons. It is also bigger than I was expecting. This isn’t something that worries me too much.Overall I would say if you can do without the bass and would prefer a balanced sound with a £20 budget you could do a lot worse than this.
