TAPPING SCREW: This screw set features countersunk wood screws with a type 17 sharp tip. This piercing tip allows the assorted screws set to be drilled into soft materials such as wood or plastic without the need of a pilot hole. For harder materials a pre drilled hole would be required.
FINISH: These woodscrews packs are zinc and yellow passivated. This provides strength to the wood screw which allows for secure fixing and prevents torque shearing. The finish also protects the screw sets against corrosion or rust for added durability and ease.
