Title: Really surprised!
Review: Really surprised how good these are, I haven’t worn ear plugs on my bike before, but having just purchased a bike that I’m sat more upright on, I found the wind noise would leave me a bit mutton Geoff after an hour or so riding. So I thought I’d start at the lower price bracket and work my way up. So tried the squishy foam ones, they’re OK at keeping the noise level down, but you cant hear anything else like someone talking to you, music or intercom or your own speach level, so onto these. Found them very comfortable on my first outing, can hear my music and can tell how loud I’m talking and can hear other people, but most importantly, I wasn’t deaf when I got off the bike, no ringing in my ears!Obviously I don’t know how they compare to the next price level up, but for now I’ll stick with these and report back after a trip down to spain in the summer.UPDATE..all the way to Spain and back and I can confirm these are excellent value for money, they work really well, are comfortable and easy to maintain.

Title: Very happy with them aside from one niggle
Review: I am very happy with these ear plugs (and therefore recommend them), I bought them to use when riding my motorcycle as I recently purchased a (relatively) loud exhaust. They’re quite comfortable, very easy to remove, and most importantly reduce the volume to an acceptable level. They’ve also cut out wind noise which is a good thing too (I tried them out before and after having the exhaust put on my bike), though they still allow me to hear other traffic and speak to people without too much difficulty. The only niggle I’ve been having with them in the last dozen or so rides has been putting them into my ears and having them remain in my ears correctly…What I mean by this is after about 15 minutes on the bike, one of the ear plugs will come out ever so slightly, which allows more sound to enter the ear. I am not sure if it’s because I haven’t put them in correctly or I haven’t equalised the pressure in my ear or something to do with the ear plug itself… but yeah, that’s my one niggle with them (there’s probably a technique to putting them in your ear correctly which I don’t know/haven’t succeeded in doing yet).The little container they come with is really handy as well, always have them with me and can put them away easily when off the bike as I attached it to my set of keys for my home. I did read a comment where another person who purchased them attached them to their bike key and had the container open due to vibration… I can see how this would be quite easy to happen, hence why I attached them to my keys that remain in my pocket at all time when on the bike.So to summarise, very good product, easy to remove, reduces volume of exhaust/wind noise sufficiently, handy container, maybe not the easiest to get into your ear correctly (though again, that could be my not putting them in correctly). If I could give half stars I’d give the product a 4.5/5 🙂

Review: I ride an XSR700 with an akrapovic system. I took the baffle out and rode it around town. Bought these plugs immediately after as it was painfully loud. These cut the noise immensely, while still allowing you to hear what’s around you. I’ve been using them for over a year now and they’ve been an eardrum saver.

Title: Great little silicon earplugs.
Review: I use these for motorcycling and they make a real difference to the noise level and make the ride much more comfortable. Really glad I started to use ear protection when riding.They are very comfortable when fitted but I find them a little fiddly to put in and especially to remove. Might be more to do with my slightly chunky hands though rather than the product.They come with a very handy metal container that fits neatly on a key ring so no excuse to leave them behind. Going to a music concert soon so will try them out there as well (maybe). Overall they are more pricey than foam alternatives and so I hope they last for a while. I would recommend.

Title: I’ll stick to my Ultimate Ear custom made
Review: I ride all year, around 10,000 miles, all weathers except deep snow, on a BMW R1200RT. Motorway commute, fast A-road excursions, not too much B-road ‘scratching’.Nice little container but only to keep in a pocket, it will scratch the bike.The plugs aren’t bad, good white-noise cancelling but still able to let through helmet speaker noise. They are comfortable (ish), certainly not uncomfortable though.Easy to insert, and as long as you place the ‘tag’ in the correct place they are easy to remove. I didn’t put the tag in the right place the first time and they are were a nightmare to remove – memo to self …The issue for me is that they move a tiny amount whilst riding when swallowing, moving my head, moving my mouth etc. and when they move the make a tiny ‘click’ in me ear and the volume of stuff changes a tiny amount. I have tried having dry ear canals and wet ear canals, inserting them shallower and deeper, and tried inserting them deeply and then removing them slightly, but to no avail. For a short ride it doesn’t bother me, but my 40 mile commute becomes really frustrating after a while.£18 isn’t a huge amount to pay, and the noise reduction is better than cheap foam throw-away plugs, but at least the foam plugs mould to your ear canal perfectly.I paid around £75 2 years ago for a pair of filtered UltimateEar custom plugs (I already had a mould from a previous non-filtered pair) and they are still excellent. I think the noise reduction is very close, but they don’t move about and cause clicking.I use the Senner’s for short trips and stick to my customs for everything else, it helps reduce wear on them.Hope that helps.

Review: Motard, je prends ma moto matin et soir, autant vous dire que mes oreilles bourdonnent, ma moto je l’adore mais elle ronronne fort. Je ne me passe pas de mes bouchons. Je les ai perdu, je les ai racheté, je les utilise a chaque fois que je conduis. Le gros plus c’est qu’ils ne coupent pas des bruits de le route, de la circulation mais ils me permettent de ne pas être sourd par le ronron de ma moto aussi agréable soit il . Je les utilise aussi quand je bricole et que j’utilise une machine qui fait trop de bruit. Je recommande et rangez les biens si vous avez un chat, ils adorent jouer avec, idem pour les enfants. Sinon on recommande et on est vite livré avec Amazon.

Review: Tappi veramente ottimi, a differenza di altri tappi di questo genere hanno un inserto in materiale un po’ più rigido che a mio parere aiuta molto per poterli infilare con facilità soprattutto per chi come me ha le orecchie piccole, naturalmente sono lavabili con acqua.Io li uso in moto tutti i giorni per eliminare il rumore del vento, fanno veramente un gran lavoro eliminando solo i rumori fastidiosi, infatti riesco comunque a parlare con altre persone senza levarmeli o sentire la moto anche a regimi da autostrada, il che aiuta molto a concentrarsi solo sulla guida senza altri fastidi.La custodia rigida poi è veramente ottima, avevo provato altri tappi con un astuccio in tessuto ma la cerniera si inceppava sempre ed era abbastanza fastidioso, qui invece essendo semplicemente un contenitore in metallo con una filettatura il problema non si pone, ha anche una guarnizione per evitare che entri dell’acqua quando è chiuso!!!A fine di tutto li consiglierei veramente a tutti, il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo e protegge magnificamente il nostro importantissimo udito.
