Title: Very quick and effective
Review: My old mains powered soldering iron took 5-10 mins to get up to temperature.This one takes just seconds.This is great for me when doing a one off quick job.Very good effective product, and light to handle too

Review: Very well built as all Sealey products seem to be. Nice rugged case.I didn’t know it came with a heat shrink attachment. This works superbly.Heats quickly.’Tip cover can be put on with the tip still warm.Cover also locks off on button.Very well thought out.

Review: It has plenty of power for heavier soldering jobs and a charge lasts a decent length of time. Unless at the workbench I tend to use this one.

Title: Very versatile
Review: A most practical soldering iron with plenty of capacity for most electrical soldering jobs without the hazard of causing inadvertant damage and setting fire to adjacent components as with most gas powered portable irons. Supplied with two soldering tips and a very useful heat shink heating element.

Title: Had high hopes but unfortunately product is faulty
Review: Was weighing this up against another battery powered soldering iron however as this has the carry case, that swayed my decision to purchase this instead. Product came and looked great, placed the iron on charge for 4 hours whilst working. I came to use the iron but the tip didn’t heat up. I removed the tip and reattached a number of times before the tip heater up. Did a bit of soldering no problems there. Came to use the iron again the tip didn’t heat up, removed and reattached but no luck. Tried the spade tip worked after the 5th attach but only worked once. Tried the iron plugged in to a computer no joy. Contacted support but as of yet have not heard back from them.Love the idea of the soldering iron and the case and packaging we’re great just disappointed that the product didn’t work as expected
