Title: Bosch PWB600 bench
Review: There is a review stating that (if you have a Bosch PWB600 bench) it doesn’t fit – that is correct – but I have found however that if you slighty bend the claw gripper part in a vice, it does actually fit without compromising safety etc. I guess it depends if you are will to give it a go. Really useful addition to the toolbox.

Review: I wanted something to use as a support for a mitre saw and a drill press. It is designed to fit a “Workmate” type bench – mine is a vintage B&D Workmate that I inherited from my father-in-law and is much more robust than modern ones. Perhaps that’s why the Benchclaw didn’t fit quite as well as it may do on a modern one – only because I really had to work hard to get the Workmate jaws open wide enough for the Benchclaw to fit. But, it does fit and it is a very secure unit for the Evolution mitre saw I bought recently. Makes things feel very safe when cutting wood, and avoids the need to buy a mitre saw stand. For me, and the modest amount of DIY I do, that works just fine, especially as I now intend to buy a drill press that I understand will fit on the Benchclaw as well (not at the same time as the mitre saw, obviously). If I did a lot more DIY, and had the space / seperate workshop, I would have gone for a seperate mitre saw stand simply as that would avoid any need to remove / refix the Claw. But, for me, this is a great solution.

Title: Not compatible with Bosch pwb600
Review: Well made but sadly it doesn’t fit the Bosch pwb600 workbench as the jaws don’t open enoght for the clamps to fit into so had to return. Disappointed as I’ll have to spend 4x the amount for a mitresaw table.

Review: AAA+++ great goods value for money easy transaction speedy delivery: Please Note AAA+++ is for the service – and this is why – I recently bought an Evolution Power Tools R255SMS+ Compound Saw, it’s great – my intention was to fix it to my workmate, with this bench claw – but the fixing holes on the saw are too small -so this claw is not compatible with all saws…I was disappointed because the bench claw is a very well designed piece of kit -it just needs more fixing options, I returned it and got my money back straight away – hence the 4 star review…if i had been able to actually use it I would definitely have given it 5
