Total Dissolved Solids
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) is a commonly misunderstood unit of measurement. Whenever TDS is measured in a body of water, that reading not only includes contaminants, but also healthy materials that should be in your drinking water, such as calcium and magnesium. Drinking water with 0 TDS is actually unhealthy, since this means that your water has none of the essential minerals that your body needs.
REPLACEMENT FILTER: The Santevia Ceramic Pre-Filter is a replacement filter for the Santevia Gravity Water System.
PHYSICAL FILTRATION: Create cleaner, pure tasting water with the Santevia Ceramic Pre-filter. The Ceramic Pre-filter has a pore size of 0.3 microns that prevent impurities from passing through it.
FILTERS RUST & MICROPLASTICS: Tap water is known to contain hazardous impurities like rust, sediment and microplastics. The Santevia Ceramic Pre-filter reduces these impurities through physical filtration.
LONG CONTACT FILTRATION: The Ceramic Pre-Filter slowly filters water to enable the process of long contact filtration. Long contact filtration increases the time your water has in contact with the Gravity Water System’s main 5-Stage Filter or Fluoride Filter and drastically increases impurity reduction.
LASTS 1 YEAR: The Ceramic Pre-Filter lasts for 1 Year and can be scrubbed with an abraisive sponge to increase the speed of filtration and extend the filter life.

Review: Easy enough to setup , rinse, boil for 1 min, dry and add to base of water tank.Will see if theres any change over the coming weeks.As another buyer stated, water tasted like stale ice cubes – a little coarser on the tongue also. I flushed out the filter water – Id reccomend doing this a second time. Seems better now.

Review: Fast delivery but been using for about a week now in a berkey water filter and a after following instructions just seems to make the water taste funny. Like the tank needs cleaning. But it is clean? Tested the water and no improvement to ph level or taste.
