Review: Bought 2 for my granddaughters bit difficult to get used to using it but once got the hang of it it creates a nice curl without the hair getting caught up or tangling. I tried several other similar products but had to return them as they tangled hair too easily.

Title: Safe, Easy, Inexpensive, But…
Review: I bought this rotating curler because of the wider barrel at 32mm, compared to another curler I’d bought with a slimmer barrel. I was hoping for bouncier curls rather than tight ringlets.Firstly, the instructions are only useful as toilet paper. So I had to figure it out myself.There is a power button which is also used to control the temperature. There are two other buttons, one to rotate left, the other to rotate right. Simple.Start with dry hair. DRY.You slide the strand into the opening, and press the left or right button depending on where you want the hair to curl. You hold on to the button and count to 10 or 20 then release and slide the barrel down, releasing the hair and voila! You have a curl. Repeat for the entire head.I bought this tool for about £15 so the price is not bad, but what I dont like about it is:1/ it doesnt always catch the hair which means you have to try the same strand several times, its just trial and error. Usually this happens with shorter strands.2/ When it does catch the hair, it often ends up catching other strands too, which means it might catch strands you’ve already curled, which is very annoying.3/ Some curls lasted a while but others just dropped after an hour or so. So it felt very hit and miss. This happened whether or not I applied product.All in all not a bad tool for the price but requires more practice and experimentation. I have a feeling it will work better on longer hair (mine is shoulder length).
