Title: Lovely scales, clear display, good size bowl
Review: I like these scales a lot. One thing that stands out is that the buttons really need pushing in and clicking to activate. This is much better than my other scales as their buttons are constantly pressed accidentally in the drawer/cupboard, needlessly draining the battery. That isn’t happening with this one. The bowl sits nicely on the plate and is a really good size for my purposes. It also make a good small mixing bowl. The display is very clear, and the measurements agree with my precision scales when rounded. The base haas non-slip feet which work well.

Title: Battery compartment held with a screw.
Review: The ‘Salter Kitchen Scale with Bowl – Multiple Measure, Measures Liquid, 5kg/11lbs Max Capacity, 2l Steel Bowl, LCD-Display, Stainless-Steel, Dual Use’ arrived in a branded box that also contained a user manual.I have used a number of Salter products over the years and found they were a brand that commanded respect for quality, but based on this product, maybe not any that has changed.The on off button had a mark of what is best described as adhesive on its surface that had to be rubbed off.Before use the battery isolator tab needed removing, except where these are normally a simple pull of the tab and done, in this case the battery compartment cover had to be removed which is held in place with a screw, and no suitable screwdriver was provided. I do not like the use of a screw as things tend to go wrong at the most inopportune time, so say I was in the process of baking and measuring ingredients and the batteries died, I cannot just remove the cover, and insert replacement batteries, I first have to find a suitable screwdriver, remove the small screw which may become lost, change the batteries and refit cover and screw, I might now be 10 minutes or more behind schedule.I was also disappointed by the product label on the rear of the scales in that it was not staying stuck down, and its application at an angle shows a lack of care. I have included pictures of the label not sticking and at an angle, though the one at an angle is after I pushed the label back down.As scales these appear to be accurate when compared to others I have.Due to the above issues I can only give these scales a 2 star rating, and hope improvements are made in the future.

Title: Good Scale, But Buttons Keep Getting Stuck
Review: I really like the lightweight, shiny stainless steel bowl, and the large LCD display is a huge plus—super easy to read. However, the build quality of the base is disappointing. The two buttons used for changing units and tare often get stuck inside the cut-outs in the body, which is really frustrating. If the buttons protruded just a little more from the base unit, this problem wouldn’t exist.This could have been an excellent product, but the poor functionality of the buttons really lets it down. It’s a shame, because the scale has a lot of potential.
