Title: Needs calibration every time
Review: I like the extra precision and the use of AAA batteries. I dislike that the device needs calibrating every time I use it. It’s always used in the same part of the bathroom floor (square patterned Lino makes this easy) but it seems not to retain its zero calibration between uses. This I find disappointing. Otherwise recommended!

Review: Purchased 6/07/22Unit failed January 24. Use infrequently in fact original batteries still good ( checked by meter) Fresh batteries installed as further check. Unit unresponsive and utterly dead. Failure rate Unacceptable. Avoid this product. I have applied a lifetime ban on all Salter productsUpdate Complained to Salter. This is their response.Good Morning,Thank you for your email.Can we please kindly ask you to remove and wipe the battery and battery contact inside the battery compartment with a lint free cloth and then put the battery back in pushing firmly.If the problem is not resolved, unfortunately as this was not registered with us it is no longer in warranty.It is our company policy that we need proof of purchase in order for a refund or replacement to be applicable within the first 12 months. Alternatively, we offer, as a gesture of goodwill, an extended warranty on our products. As for proof of purchase will the enclosed PDF file suffice? I wasn’t aware that registration was required.I have purchased a replacement from another manufacturer that does precisely the same as your product with a 12 month warranty for £9.99, over one third the cost of your product.Despite your 12 month warranty I believed I was at the time purchasing a quality product and as such warranted the additional cost. I think a failure so soon is unacceptable and I would have expected Salter to be equally disappointed. I have been asked by Amazon to update them on my experience together with a review, I shall refrain from doing so until I hear back from you, as it would be appropriate to give you a chance to reconsider. I have in the past purchased Salter products but this experience has left me of the opinion that your products are now no longer any better than others costing a third of the price. If this is the level of product there is no point in incurring additional costs. I feel very strongly that Salter are not standing by their products in the manner that I expect. These scales have had very very limited use, for them to fail before even the first set of batteries is utterly unacceptable, rather ironic the batteries lasted longer than the product Essentially I paid £31.99 for a set of batteries a fact I will attest to if needs be.They never responded to this. Draw your own conclusions.

Review: Die Wagge ist sehr funktional, draufstellen, kurz warten, wenn der Wert kurz blinkt ist er fixiert. Die angezeigten Werte sind reproduzierbar und in 50 gr. Schritten angezeigt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und können diese Waage weiter empfehlen.Über die Langzeitqualität kann ich natürlich noch keine Aussagen machen.
