The base of each pan features tri-layering technology, a copper core sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel, allowing for even and efficient heat distribution across the whole base and eliminating hot spots during cooking.
PFOA FREE – The Robert Welch Campden cookware 28cm non-stick frying pan is constructed from superior quality 18/10 stainless steel and has a PFOA free ILAG non-stick coating. ILAG non-stick is considered to be extraordinarily long-lasting, abrasion & corrosion resistant, and produced without pollutants.

Title: Possibly the best pan I’ve ever bought
Review: Welcome to middle age where I spent £80 on a freaking pan, got excited and am now leaving a 5 star review for other middle age humans so they can go buy it. Fed up of all your pans getting worn out? This one hasn’t done us wrong! Also it’s heavy so if I’m home alone and someone breaks into the house, I’m grabbing this bad boy to defend myself. Cleans well….

Title: Excellent quality and great non stick
Review: I was sceptical about spending so much on a pan when I am at best a reluctant cook but this is actually worth it in my opinion. The pan distributes the heat more efficiently so the heat can be turned down, I would estimate using a quarter to a third lower heat and that will be saving gas too. The non stick performs brilliantly and it’s an absolute dream to clean. The outer stainless steel gains minor surface scratches during normal use but it is solid and well made. I am hoping for many years of use out of it, unlike my usual cheaper pans – so far I am very pleased.

Title: Seems high quality but heavy
Review: I have enjoyed using this frying pan.It made with 18/10 stainless steel with a copper/stainless steel 3 ply base and a Excalibur non stick coating of PFOA free non stick fluorpolymers. This gives me added confidence in its safety as I have read of health risks with high levels exposure to PFOA including cancer.I have bought other Robert Welch products in the past with 18/10 steel and have found them not to rust like other cheaper products have. The materials used in this frying pan seem to be of a high quality and the non stick coating appears thicker than my old frying pan. It also distributes heat evenly as far as I can tell. It is much heavier than my old frying pan and at first I found this straining on my arm when serving with a spatula onto my plate, but now I have come accustomed to the weight and found it easier to serve food that on first use.Ultimately I think there is a trade off here between use of high quality materials for durability and heat exchange versus weight for easier use. The frying pan is attractive and I am so far very happy with it. It comes with a 25 year guarantee against manufacturing defects and the Excalibur non stick coating has a 10 year guarantee.

Title: Quality item designed to last.
Review: A really heavy frying pan which certainly looks as if it will be hard wearing and do a reliable job. I chose it because I have been so impressed with the quality of other Robert Welch items I’ve bought. Although an expensive outlay initially, it replaces at least 3 cheaper frying pans whose non stick linings have not listed and combined expense would’ve exceeded this. Very pleased.

Title: Buyer Beware – Non Stick Coating Will Fail
Review: This pan worked really well initially but the non stick coating failed completely within a year. On contacting the seller I was told that the pan must only be used on a low to medium heat. It’s a frying pan – they need to handle heat. Importantly, there is ZERO mention of this requirement on their Amazon product page. To the contrary, the page sings the pan’s praises, claiming it is versatile, works on all surfaces etc etc. It even goes so far as to say it can go in an oven up to 250 degrees centigrade. But absolutely no mention of stovetop heat.Needless to say who wants a pan that can’t be used fully on the stovetop. And who wants to buy from a company that provides misleading selling information and who refuses to make amends when this is pointed out.There are much better options on Amazon.

Review: Not the cheapest but it’d my second one. Quite heavy but brilliant on induction hob. It says dishwasher safe, after time my last one lost some non stick. Suggest hand was only.
