Title: High quality unobtrusive dashcam
Review: This is a simple and very effective dashcam which gives good quality videos. It has the right feature set (no unnecessary GPS), good connectivity and reasonable software app. App not especially intuitive but improves with use. My only reservation is that the camera cannot be removed without unsticking the mounting. Needs a 5v supply – use a 12v to 5v converter available on this site at low cost rather than the expensive connection kit. Pricing very good for performance.

Title: Overall Great Dashcam
Review: The dashcam is simple to install in your car, it’s quite chunky but works. Simply plug it in to a 12V and put up the front and rear camera. Obviously it takes time to make it neat and not a complete mess. I would say the cable is quite large as the 12V plugs straight into the main front dashcam and the rear camera cable is run from the front camera. The rear dashcam cable has a extension connector which can be awkward to hide in the seals of the door but overall, the cabling is almost unnoticeable unless you were looking for it.You have to purchase your own SD card, I went with theSanDisk Extreme 128 GB microSDXC Memory CardThe app works well, I had the Halo Go (the cheap front dashcam) and the app was slow to load videos. Could of been the old SD card but I don’t know.Good video quality and easy to use. I have had no problems with any of it. The dashcam also has a large mute button so you can enable and disable audio with a quick press, which I think is a nice touch for private conversations.

Title: Patience is key
Review: This was bought as a Christmas present for my son. It needs an SD card which doesn’t come with the dash cam and won’t work without so I think it should be included. Hard wire kit is an extra which is fair enough but another extra. The rear camera interferes with the DAB radio so that requires a separate purchase of some ferrite core clips to put on the cable. The app wouldn’t connect but after a lot of head scratching he found if you turn the data off on the phone it will connect via WiFi. It’s been an ongoing thing for 2 weeks of trouble shooting, waiting for extra stuff to arrive, and general frustration which really takes the shine off the gift. I think it is ok now but if I’m honest if the return window was still open I would have sent it back. Otherwise it looks good, not too obtrusive and because of the hardwire kit there’s no hanging cables. Camera footage is clear and gives a good view. Fingers crossed

Title: Great Dash Cam
Review: Installation was straightforward. I was able to hide most of it behind screen ‘frit’ (the black border around the windscreen) so from the front view all you could see was the lens peeping out. Be careful to leave enough room on the right side to access the sd card (recommend 128Gb). I used the hard wire kit which was fairly easy to install and comes with 3 types of fuse taps – ATO, low mini and mini – it does NOT include micro2 fuse taps which most newish cars seem to use (come on Road Angel it’s about time you sorted this out). I had to buy separate micro2 taps and graft them on to the end of the usb cable.Video quality front and rear was very good. It took me a little while to get to grips with the app but once I did I found it very useful. Amongst other things, the app sets camera resolution, downloads videos /pics to your smartphone and controls parking mode. Parking mode control can monitor car battery level and can be set to 12.4, 12 or 11.8volts. When the car battery reaches the selected level the parking mode is turned off to prevent a flat battery. (if you don’t want to use parking mode you don’t have to disconnect any wires as it can be manually switched off in the app).Video seems to be recorded in 2 or 3 minute sections (which have date/time stamps). You can quickly browse or ‘page’ through these to find the section you want to watch or download to your phone. This is via WiFi – I initially had problems with this but discovered that my phone kept trying to switch to my home wifi – once it was locked on the dashcam wifi downloads were reasonably quick (each one can be up to 5 minutes long). Alternatively you can remove the card and read it on a PC/Mac – each video has a readable date/time stamp (front and rear videos are located in separate folders). Needless to say I had problems with this! – some videos seemed to pixelate or break up. Finally discovered that I had a faulty card reader – once replaced, no problems.The Halo Pro has been in use for 6 weeks now and worked perfectly. I am really pleased with its’ performance and would definitely recommend it.

In caso di mancata installazione della stessa sarà possibile visionare ma non salvare le immagini con conseguente avviso sonoro di mancata installazione della scheda sd.Ho provato il prodotto per diversi giorni. Le immagini registrate hanno una definizione utile allo scopo, si riesce a distinguere bene ogni tipo di dettaglio. Anche in notturna la qualità è discretamente soddisfacente.La legge italiana dice che riguardo l’utilizzo di questi dispositivi è importante il tipo d’installazione che non deve oscurare o impedire una corretta visuale, inoltre è legale registrare le immagini ma non si possono diffondere in rete se vi sono dati sensibili come volti e targhe di altri automobilisti.Le clip possono valere come prove documentali ma non sostituiscono la scatola nera, che invece è un dispositivo omologato e approvato.🏁CONCLUSIONIAl momento della recensione il prezzo è di 129.99€. Peccato sia sprovvista di, monitor, micro SD, camera posteriore a supporto, Telecomando, GPS e maggior campo visivo riscontrabili in altri prodotti sulla stessa fascia di prezzo, ragion per cui non vado oltre le 3 stelle.Spero di essere stato “UTILE” ✌

Review: Dans l’ensemble ce rétroviseur est vraiment pas mal. Les fonctionnalités sont développées les images propres et claires même avec un faible éclairage.Vu comme ça il est beau mais une fois en place, c’est un peu grossier, c’est gros, les attaches ne sont pas très belles et surtout les câbles qui arrivent dessus ça ne fait vraiment pas beau. On aurai préféré pouvoir les brancher derrière et pas au dessus.L’utilisation n’est pas trop compliquée, c’est assez user-friendly. Est-ce que ça vaut le coup en revanche je ne pense pas, encore moins sur une voiture récente.

Review: Die Dash Cam wird mit Kabeln, Rückfahrkamera und einem kleinen Montagehebel geliefert. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist leider nur in Englisch und wirklich sehr kurz. Leider wird die SD Karte nicht mitgeliefert. Wenn diese nicht installiert ist meldet sich das Gerät lautstark und verlangt die Karte. Den Spiegel kann man gut über den original Spiegel klemmen. Man sieht auch gar nicht so stark das da ein Spiegel angeklemmt ist. Die Linse für die Frontkamera kann man frei bewegen. Also den Spiegel erstmal so einstellen das man nach hinten schauen kann und dann die Linse ausrichten, dass sie optimal die Straße filmen kann. Die Rückfahrkamera wird per Kabel angeschlossen. Das ist natürlich ein ziemliche Arbeit das Kabel durchs Auto zu legen. Der Anschluss ist einfach gemacht. Wenn man die automatisch Rückfahrkamera haben will muss man ein Kabel an Schalter vom Rückwärtsgang legen. Das Bild beider Kameras ist sehr scharf. Die weiteren Funktionen muss ich jetzt im Betrieb mal testen.
