Title: Purchased for gaming, does the job.
Review: Plus points; It’s exactly as described. The charging and battery life appear good though the instructions are typically badly translated Chinese to English so care is needed when first charging and using. It refers to flashing lights on the keyboard to indicate if charging or full. If the keyboard is off it won’t do this (or at least the one we got doesn’t), it needs to to turned ON whilst charging (switch on underside). We waited for a long time for the signal to say it was full, then tried turning it one and it indicated full immediately.Has some interesting features including illuminated keys in different patterns according to choice. Responsive and works well in gaming, certainly with PS4 Pro in our case.On the downside the keys are incredibly noisy (old school sound) reminiscent of a 90’s computer, the space bar is particularly loud being a larger key anyway. My son likes this and actually prefers it to a silent, beautifully made apple full size keyboard, but hey each to their own.So to sum up, does what we wanted, reasonable price I guess, not cheap. Well made. Responsive. Only time will tell how durable it is but for about £8-00 we took up the offer of damage and fault insurance cover for three years so hopefully no worries for a while.

Title: Review of the Royal Kludge RK61
Review: This is my first ever keyboard review for my first ever proper mechanical keyboard, please be kind :)So, the Royal Kludge RK61. A fairly popular 60% board due to its cheap price (I got mine for NZD56 on discount with shipping and insurance on BangGood). From what I read from reviews from other people before purchasing this board, it is found to be quite divisive. Some praising its cheap price and functionality and others condemned it for various reasons, of which some I will explain on my review. Anyway, let’s get down to the review, shall we?What is this thing? Well it is a White Royal Kludge RK61 with the RK Red switch, which I assume to be a clone of Gateron Reds. I am going to review the switch first since I don’t particularly have a good knowledge of switches and just wanted to get this out of the way. As I said before, my guess is that this is a clone of Gateron Reds with transparent housing. This means a couple of things for me. One, that it feels quite smooth in my fingers, especially compared to the MX Blacks and Reds that I have felt. I still can feel a little bit of scratchiness when typing but I assume that this will be fixed easily with some lube. Secondly, regardless of what I say above. The biggest characteristic that I feel from this switch is that it is wobbly as hell, like the stem of the switch feels loose. It almost feels like one of those Cooler Master Mem-Chanical switches (Rubber Dome w/ Sliders over Membrane) but somewhat smoother. My plans for the switches are either lubing them and replace the springs with SPRiT 150g or replace them with either Linjar or CreamsAnyway, enough of me talking in the field that i do not master very well. We’re moving on to the part where we discuss keycaps and build quality. Now this is something that I do have some knowledge about. it is quite a light keyboard on 700g. The reason for this is that most if not all the materials in this keyboard are made out of cheap plastic, they feel really scratchy. The board feels cheap overall, which is fair considering it’s price (USD37). That is cheaper than some PCB’s like the DZ60 or the GH60. I took apart the board, the case is held in place by 4 phillips head screw. That’s easy enough to open. Inside I found a 750mAh battery loosely glued to the case (did I tell you guys that this thing is wireless?) and a Cypress CYW20730 Bluetooth controller. The PCB itself is not screwed to anything once opened. The screw from the case goes directly to the plate that sandwiches the PCB and the PCB is held to the plate with two small plastic tabs. It uses a rather shady HFD1101KBA micro controller, I have yet to successfully find any documentation regarding this part. When I first received the board, anything involving the USB system on this board feels super tight. The areas that I’d like to highlight is the female micro-USB connector on the board and the male USB-A connector on the included cable. I am worried that this might lead to a shortened life-span in the long run, but for now it is fine. The keycaps feels really cheap I’m not going to lie. The keycaps from my old Cooler Master MasterKeys Lite L looks and feels so much better (Look! I swapped the escape key). I’m personally not too fussed about RGB implementation but the Cooler Master keycaps makes the RGB lighting shines brighter. Other than that, there’s not much to say about the keycap. Lastly, the spacebar stabilizers is very noisy, the whole board is reasonably silent when typing but the spacebar stabilizers makes a rather metallic noise when pressed vigorously.Moving on to the cons. There are a lot of things that should have been given it’s own section in this paragraph, but the problem is that there is a lot of them. So I am going to compound them together here. First of all, the layering of the nav cluster, f keys, and symbols, and everything. Going into 60% for the first time, I tried to prepare myself to use the function keys for multiple layering of key function in a small keyboard. But boy was the layering in this thing horrible. First and foremost, it is moody and inconsistent. I understand having layering is important in a small keyboard, but when your alphabet, number row, and backspace key are all in a different layer from each other, then we got a problem. And the fact that you need 2 different combination of layer to get to the question mark is simply terrible (Fn+left shift press, then Fn+right shift hold while pressing the question mark key). And that’s just one layer, there are inconsistency on layering across the board (pun not intended). The software is somewhat serviceable but my biggest problem with the board is that it BSoD my computers, somehow. Now I don’ know if this problem is exclusive to me or not, but from my sample size of 2 AMD systems, it may look like it is a widespread problem.In conclusion, you get what you paid for. If you just want to test the water with the whole SFF on a keyboard thing, $30 something won’t hurt. For everyone else, get an Anne Pro 2 or a Ducky One 2 Mini.

Title: The keyboard is perfect for gaming, when I had a problem the assistance was great
Review: I bought this keyboard for my son, who is a video gamer. He wanted something small, but efficient, that was quick enough to play his high level video games.After a 3/4 month, he had an issue, two keys where not working properly, they will not function or over function and write 3 letters instead of one with one touch.I contacted Amazon, they told me I had to contact the manufacturer, I did it and even if it took some time and some tries, they sent me things to try to fix the one we have, at the end they sent a new one that so far is working perfectly.I was very happy because it is not a cheap product, but when they understood that the issue was not fixable they have been great.Definitely recommend them, because things could go wrong and you want to be sure to have a good assistance when they do happen. The new product is fine for now, so maybe the previous one was an anomaly.

Title: An absolute gem of a 60% keyboard.
Review: Well, I’ve been after a small white mechanical wireless keyboard for some time now, intended. It to look at Amazon in my hunt as when you type the parameters “gaming” and “keyboard” into the search, the amount of pure rubbish that turns up is incredible. However when I read a top 10 list of 60% keyboards on a trusted review site and this guy featured, I thought I’d take a look.When it arrived I was amazed at the quality. For less than £50 I thought it was gonna be a bit cheap feeling, but actually it’s expensive feeling. It has a solid chassis, next to no deck flex or twist. The actuation of the key switch set is fantastically clicky and tactile (if that’s what you’re after), and even though it’s Bluetooth ive not noticed any discernible input latency (though I’m not a competitive shooter kinda guy or anything).I’ve been using for over a week now and apart from the initial charge, only charged it once (after 5 days of fairly heavy use), which took no time at all due to its usb-c interface, which can also be used to make it wired.The blue backlight is excellent. It can be super bright if you want, but I turn it right down to lowest and it’s still great. Each key is individually lit and can be individually turned on or off, and there are many different lighting patterns. Colour cannot change though, it’s cyan all the time, but looks really well implemented.The one I have is the American key layout, so if you’re set on UK layout then this isn’t for you, but I just changed my windows language settings to add “English (US)” as well as “English (UK)” so I had the option to change my keyboard language to match the RK61’s key layout. It’s very easy to get used to.Overall I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and would recommend anyone to give this board a go. It really did surprise me.

Review: I decided to mod my keyboard, using the rk browns but lubed them with 205g0 and 105 on the springs, sounds and feels nice. Put on these oem keycaps, lubed the stabilizers but the spacebar I can’t get the way I like, found out it’s bc of the spacebar keycap :(( using the dongle was fine for a bit but when i tried using the bluetooth and wired sometimes it wouldnt connect for a few mimutes, and once it kept pressing “m” without me touhing that and couldnt backspace or anytbing. Prefer it wired, and the backlights are okay. Don’t use them tho as don’t care for the backlight? Arrived quickly and in good condition. Use it for my Xbox series s, works well just sometimes closing an app or game is weird bc the arrow keys are the “?” “Alt” “app” “ctrl” and pressing fb and app makes it go down but other then that happy with my purchase. Came with extra switches, keycap & switch puller and this usb type c cable I found neat as it can be usb type c to c? If that makes sense lol. Works well with my Xbox, pressing fb and enter disables the arrow keys, customer support? Was great to get back to me, help reset the keyboard and it doesn’t happen as often.

Review: Digitação muito gostosa! O tamanho 65% (vendedor ofereceu pois o 61% estava fora de estoque, o que no final das contas foi o melhor) descomplicou em muito minha mesa de trabalho, e por ter conexão bluetooth meu problema com cabos se reduziu. O cabo para carregamento é USB-C com adaptador para USB-A para utilizar conectado no PC. Depois que se acostuma com os atalhos de teclado a agilidade para trabalho melhora muito.Aconselho para programadores e profissionais que saibam trabalhar com atalhos de teclado, pois só assim se consegue tirar todo o potencial dessa maravilha; e claro, aconselho para jogos tbm, por ele ser configurável a vários estilos de gameplay. Espero ter ajudado, e que a força esteja com você.

Review: Bueno bueno bueno como empiezo, a ver nunca habia probado un teclado sin los F1,F2 etc y sin el teclado numerico de la derecha, la verdad en mi opinion personal es la sig, los materiales los siento bastante normales no son ni muy buenos ni malos, eso si tienes ventaja porque es muy personalizable y trae switch de repuesto, las luces pues no esperes mucho es un color con diferentes modalidades y ya, los botones por lo menos conmigo se sientes bastante normales, se nota que no es lo mejor de lo mejor pero igualmente no son malos, pero como puntos negativos quiza es que no compite en ningun apartado, pero tampoco es que tenga malos apartados, lo unico que les digo es que no les recomiendo para nada los teclados que no son 100% si es que lo van a utilizar para jugar muchas cosas distintas que requieran muchos botones programables como minecraft, o si van a programar y escribir tareas en word por ejemplo, mi experiencia es un poco fea pero mas personal, fuera de esto el teclado cumple con su precio y te da lo justo.
