Title: Great powder, not drying, good coverage
Review: I’m very very pleased with this foundation powder, the coverage is good, it’s so quick to apply, and the powder isn’t drying on the skin. Note – the sponge is under the powder (I didn’t realise until I bought an extra sponge to apply!). I’ll be using this foundation powder from now on

Title: In the morning going to do my makeup open it up and its empty
Review: Thought it was strange that I ordered 2, but they did not arrive together but separately, they came quite late and never thought to check them. Next day in the morning just putting my make up on and opened it very disappointed to find it empty, the other one was for my mum so asked her if hers was alright luckily hers was. I normally use max factor infinity but it’s gone so expensive this I finding is a good alternative. Full stars for product but will be changing it if they don’t send me a replacement or money back

Review: Rimmel is a longstanding cosmetic brand founded in London in 1834. Latterly, in common with some other big make up and perfume brands, it was purchased by Coty Inc. Much is made in Rimmel’s advertising of the past few years of this being a ‘London’ brand and indeed this Lasting Finish Compact Foundation is made in the UK.My first choice probably wouldn’t be a powder foundation containing talc. Though I rarely get spots, I have had one or two in the past when using similar foundations with this ingredient. It does have a point as the talc will absorb oil so if you have oily skin this may work for you. And this foundation’s vegan and transfer proof so the colour won’t transfer onto your clothing.I applied Lasting Finish using a brush. A small sponge is included underneath the foundation – simply lift up to access. The compact is neatly sized at around 7cm square – so takes up little space in a handbag or make up bag for touch-ups on the go and the bright red colour makes it easy to locate.I have to say the finish exceeded my expectations. The foundation applied smoothly – and was really quick to apply so could work for you if you’re in a hurry, are on a budget – or both. Probably not a foundation I’d use daily but Lasting Finish Compact Foundation covers well and certainly shows you don’t need to push the boat out to achieve a good look. Because of this, I reckon it’s worth 5 stars.
